Lasagne, just before going in the oven.

Covered for half and hour, then broiled at the end.

    Done

Plated, hot and still needing a green salad.

Been so busy last night was the first time in a while I have cooked. The wife and kids picked up the noodles and the mozzarella, a made a bechamel with some white cheddar I had, then pulled a bag of the spaghetti gravy out of the freezer. Birthday dinner a day early for them. They are out with friends today with an 8pm deadline to get home. Then we shall eat the Swensens chocolate ice cream cake that just came.

    Happy Bday to the girls!

My missus is working the evening shift for 2 weeks so along with being a bit busy it's hardly worth cooking for one unless it can be cut up / frozen. I think I'll just make a quick spag bol tonight though as I'm craving something home cooked!

Make a shit load of spaghetti, then freeze it in servings of the size you like. The sauce here had been frozen for 7 weeks, just gets better with age.

I'm fairly new to TD, and the convalouted posting method puts me off a bit. I guess it is the softwarz.
I post a lot on PA and CTH, posting is inline, IE just add a pic to your post.
I also have a fantastic Thai cook, and I do mexican that she likes.
    Works for us.

They are great, I have a huge on that came with the stove but for perfection this baby is the best. Even temperature every time. The damn handle fell off a week ago. I do have to figure how to get it back on. I need a type of glue. What glue is heat resistant?

Maybe it's better not to type this stuf in the food thread? It's family friendly with little to no smut.

Great lasagne by the way AO. Dinner of champions that.

A nice Spag Bol for dinner tonight -

Made with my 'special ingredient' -

Megachef Chilli paste. Try adding a spoonful next time you make a Spag Bol. It give it a great kick.

^ haha we must have posted at near enough the same time!

Yep my missus is on the late shift so I have been living on junk food for the past week. Even though I do 99% of the cooking in the house when she isn't around my food choice suffers!

    Heinz beans?

I'm in BKK mate, and yep I do the cooking in the house. As lovely as my missus is, she isn't the best of cooks I have only been cooking for 3 or 4 years now so I'm still learning as I go along. I enjoy experimenting - Sometimes I get it wrong but sometimes I hit a taste of genius haha

    Cheers

^ I would enjoy that mate Agingone has given me some great cooking tips and I'm looking forward to meeting him. It would be wonderful if we could all get together for a feast one day! I take it you can't be here for the December meet up?

My parents are coming over soon and they bring me a suitcase full of the bits I miss from back home, Heinz beanz with sausages will be on the list!

    Cheers
