With thanks to agingone for a wonderful recipe I enjoyed 'Pork Carnitas' last night with a spicy salsa. Truly delicious

I am happy to see you pulled it off satonic. It was not an easy recipe and you made it so well, and presented it and photographed it perfectly. I know now I have to cook it again soon. Really happy you enjoyed it and had fun with the preparation.

anyway off to Romford market today ,, so I hope to get a nice piece of something to roast up on here tomorrow ,, I quite fancy a bit of yorkshire pud + beef

It's a secret.

^^ SEA, It's pork shoulder. I used 2 packets from Tesco. I think the packets contain 600g each. Slow cooked in the oven, covered, in a broth for a few hours before shredding. The meat just falls apart. So tender...

I then put it under the grill just for a few minutes before serving just to crisp up a few of the ends.

If you had any of the " pulled pork " left over cold Sat it would make a lovely sandwich with a bit of pork dripping + a splash of sea salt

Funny you say that mate, I just finished exactly that off as a midnight snack

I had it for lunch too. It goes a long way between two people.

Yup sure does ,, can't beat a midnight snack ,, especially on a Sat night after a couple of shandies

Gonna be in a similar situation tomorrow as we have a lovely piece of topside to roast for Sun dinner ,, watch this space !
