    Roadkill gaeng.

Reminds me of my time in Ayutthaya and the sticks nearby...

    ...even Pizza Company appealed.

WOW ... things must have been dire.

Out of curiosity, Thai Pizzas are average at best, but why are they so damm expensive?

my pisstake out of the Mrs, one of my favourites: young tamarind leaf (tastes like lemon) and pork short rib in red curry no coconut so its a bit soupy but enough of a kick to clear all airways.

    Heavily inspired by Sir Anthony.

Though the bell pepper, tomato and onion salad was a bit more heavily dressed.

Kiddo ordered MM's fried short ribs for dinner, so will probably add cheesy fries with that and a 12 pack of icy cold beer.

    Balance.

    Barons Sino Chinese Fusion

So I recently went to this place with a few of my best old friends. A sort of pre-Xmas party. Barons Kitchen and Bar. We went all out and I was not able to get picks of everything due to the fact that the booze was flowing and I could not keep the savages at bay long enough to get picks of everything. So the experience was far better than these pics can illustrate. Lots of very swank people in this area known as Bellsquare. A Chinese kid sitting in the table next to us was wearing a 60K rose gold Audemars Piguet watch.

    To start. Passion fruit prawns..

    Dinner-h1fkxx4-jpg

Smoked mackerel served smoking with house made kimchi...

    Dinner-ntwbbre-jpg

    Dinner-ibcytgs-jpg

    Sizzling pot Zucchini...

    Dinner-vpdknd9-jpg

4 hour braised pork belly (sorry this one is blurry)...

    Dinner-mh09p8o-jpg

Golden Broth Consume with prawns, lobster, scallops, bamboo mushrooms and asparagus.

    Dinner-opp1oof-jpg

Finally. I present the last dish but I forget what it was called. Full of seafood and especially chunks of lobster...

    Dinner-zm6caqm-jpg

I left out the booze, the imperial fried rice and a few other dishes because savages got hands on before I could take pics.

    ^^ I'll ignore that.

I seem to have been doing a lot of cooking this week, so just a pic of the best from last night.

I went for the low angle, artistic shot I see a lot of people using. Steak and kidney!

This is a win win as the littlun has gone off kidney so picks it out of her pie for me!
