The plate of the right looks delish. :yup:
Will then scoff the plate on the left after a good few beers.
Will skip all the middle stuff.
I am not a big poster of food pics but thought I would toss out a pic of a "Phat" strip loin and some veggies right off my grill with a Crystal Head vodka on the rocks in hand.

Did up some veggies and some herb taters.
^ mmm very nice.
Hang on is that a plastic plate? Is this a bit of oneupsmanship over Snubby?:)
Snubby what is the soup at the top left of that Korean food pic?
Looks a little like Tom Yum Goong
Haha! Well we Americans don't like to do the dishes.
Kimchi jjigae. Served boiling hot and the old mamasan knows to put that next to the lady. She serves it up. :)
So amazing. It is almost 0 Celsius here mate so perfect for Korean.
^ looks great.
Never tried Korean. Thought they ate dog.
Whats that meat on the left?:)
Might as well name all the side dishes snubs :)
What's that dish at the bottom, 2 from the left. Lookso interesting.
Use to eat Korean for lunch, loved the spicy mini chicken legs.
Or at least I thought they were chicken legs:rolleyes:
The wife and I have an early afternoon second meal (the first being breakfast) and nothing else. We frequent a small number of restaurants in Nan and in the case of Crazy Noodle, decided to try it because it was always busy, queues onto the street busy at times. Since we eat there at least twice a week they now prepare my preferred dish without us ordering. This is a BIG bowl of tom yum based broth with yellow noodles, pork bone, pork meat, pork larb, bean sprouts, beans, dried pork rind, turnip (I think), crushed peanuts and as you can see yesterday, boiled eggs. Delicious and filling, and I'm still losing weight. Farang priced at 100 baht though.

Nice, I'm jealous. Last night I had a plate of asparagus smothered in a pseudo butter film with a loaf on french bread. Miss fish and company had kylook or as the Philippine people say, Baloot. Dipped in badackof course.https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2018/12/1286.jpg
As we call it here in the states Hamburger soup...

Was doing an Aussie ribeye and usually don't do a rub, typically just ground black pepper and salt just before frying, then butter. But J's steak above inspired me.

Nice for a change. Will keep on as normal, but change to a rub every now and again though.
^ a late afternoon snack before dinner?
