    This coming from a yank
All fresh and home cooked. Delicious. Beer batter for the fish, sweet peas and fresh carrots, mash an onion into the mash and a little black pepper, milk, butter and salt.
(It's nice to squeeze a lemon over the fish.)
    Simple, tasty and satisfying.
Lets see your latest cooking creation Bsnub.
I'd rather eat a plate of that than some of the SHIT that I have seen dished up on American food shows swimming in half a gallon of grease accompanied by a bucketful of sugar laden soft drink !

I've noticed American recipes always seem to call for a tin of this and a can of that and a packet of this and a jar of that, and yeah, why does every meal have to be washed down with a gallon of 'soda' ?

Looks very nice actually. I like the way you make out you eat with a knife and fork when Jan's not about, when we all know that you're chowing down, hands behind your back, doggie stylee...

You have not a clue what the fuck you are on about. America is a nation of 300 million people and as diverse as the entire planet. We are not so lame as to accept shit boiled peas for dinner. When I (my lady) cook at home we usually go to fisherman's terminal and buy the fresh good stuff and then build dinner around that. I give you kodos for taking pics but that dish is lacking. Sorry.

I decided to eat a giant French stick with ham, cheese and tomatoes instead!

You're not far off but, you're not getting a green as it's incomplete.
