^ Mama Mia! Nice balls you have there.:)
How many people you feeding tonight?
2 1/2 with enough left over for a pair of Meatball Melts for lunch tomorrow.... maybe. Man Utd kick off at 11:30 tonight. Might have to order in some fishhead and pig intestine soup for the main mrs' lunch tomorrow. :)
So after asking the Missus if she'd like to hit a seafood buffet a few nights back, she said just getting some prawns and cooking them at home was what she wanted. So off to the Naklua markets we go this morning and come home with a few Keys of good size Tigers;

That look a bit more palatable once boiled up and plunged into an ice bath;

Then onto an Italian roll with some lettuce;

Then seasoned with S&P and secret seafood sauce (ketchup, mayo, Tabasco, Worcestershire, and a dash of Bourbon);

All these guys fucken around with meat pies lately for finger food, pfffft :)
Now that's a 'wich I could get me claws around. :)
Good work.
I can't green either one of you, but HW, you've inspired my next arterial clogging dish...
A proper fried shrimp sandwich...the world famous Poor Boy...
Here's a meal the wife and I have once every week or so...
tuna served on butternut lettuce leaves. I usually add a drop or two of hot sauce to punch things up...

The wife puts onion, pickle and celery...I do enjoy it as well.
This thread has a nasty habit of making me hungry just after I've finished eating. :)
Would smoked paprika be a nice topping for the tuna? The thought just appeared in my befuddled mind...
^Only one way to find out :). Your Wife's idea of pickle is something I'd never thought of. Always have pickled cucumbers in the fridge for salads but the sweet and slightly sour crunch would work well in a wrap too thinking about it...
Pickles are essential...we use sour dills
For a beer ...If everyone want it...but so late now

I'll have some Za, the footy's about to begin. :)
You've got very big shrimp Za.
THE BIG NIGHT IN
A Dominos special
2 pizzas
garlic bread
potato wedges
cookies
bottle of coke
£20
It's all gone.
The family ate a cookie between them. I had the rest.
We ate and watched Elf.
It was one of the single greatest moments of my adult life.
Being able to put that amount of food away in one sitting is nothing short of phenomenal.
I will now conclude the feasting with a brace of Theakstons Old Peculier and a few goes on my e-fag.
A man has to keep his strength up.
That Old Peculier will teach Domonos the meaning of fibre, and who is boss by boring it's way through that four pound pizza plug overnight.
I just bought 3 big bottles of heinekan (£5) for my supper.
No chance of rushing then ,as the bastards are just above freezing and my English gnashers are already kicking up a fuss..
Hey Dickie: What are you paying for bone-in legs of lamb in NZ?.
The reason I ask is because I bought one yesterday and noticed the price, have a look at this-

https://teakdoor.com/Gallery/albums/u...205_112437.jpg
That's like 11 NZ bucks per kilo. That seems obscenely cheap for such a good product. So do you have any idea what you're paying for them down there?. It must be about 6 NZ bucks a Kilo!.
A big leg of lamb (as in your pic) would be about $30 - $35 NZ.
That meat you have there, is better quality (being export) than we get here domestically... That's why I only buy my meat from a butcher, not supermarkets.
I'm sure you and your family will enjoy it mate...
As you know, Dick loves lamb....
bahhhhhhhh!! :aus:
Cut and season with whatever takes your fancy.
https://teakdoor.com/images/smilies1/You_Rock_Emoticon.gif
Now add a cup of water and 1/4 cup of oil.
https://teakdoor.com/images/smilies1/You_Rock_Emoticon.gif
Put in oven for 45 mins on 200.
After 45 mins the potatoes will be soft on the inside. Take them out, turn them over and season again if required.

After another 40-45 mins, the smell will have you scratching at the oven door and eating them as soon as you've got your greedy mitts on them. Take a pic of the 5 you didnt manage to scoff and post on the dinner thread. :)
