We should do up a Best Roast Leg of Lamb thread with a poll.

That's a bladdy good site.
https://honestbee.co.th/th/stores/vi...partments/3522
Their website seems to have less stock/options than their app.
^ If I can order those after wiping the dust off me phone I'll never have to leave the house again.
Perfect. :)
^^That seems very cheap if it's per kilo price, more so for boned out lamb and doubly so as it's from Villa. There's a few things I go to Villa to get (dry goods that nobody else carries or example) but I never buy meat there because their prices are generally WAY higher than everywhere else.
Though it doesn't say if it's NZ.
But going from Pan Food's website, I'd guess yes.

^Right. I looked at your link ^^^ and they have frozen NZ legs @ 620 per Key. That's the Villa I know .

i will go in villa tomorrow. im sure i paid over 1000 baht, maybe 1500 for that lamb shoulder i ballsed up last xmas which my mate salvaged:)
^I remember that!. Where did 2016 go??? :(
Sure I pay around 285 baht a kg for a frozen netted boneless lamb shoulder at Macro.
Normally get it once a month. Average weight is around 1.3kg and pay around the 400 baht mark.
Bogon. You are correct!
Was in Tops today.

Macro it is then.
Wouldn't mind, but it's good for another 4 days. :)
Cheeky fookers.
Bogon Tip #745
This one was actually passed down to me from an old hand.
If the lamb is just for you, ask the good guys at Macro to cut it into steak slices (about an inch or so thick). As it is frozen, they chuck it on the old band-saw and you can get around 5 or so dinners from it, instead of cooking it hole and making sarnies for the next few days.
It comes out like lamb chops but without the bone.
Good with rosemary and garlic, but in my opinion, smother and marinade in mint sauce, then stick those babies in the oven.
That makes sense,
It's nearly Christmas who will be the first to do the Xmas dinner ? , :)

I know you have all been waiting for this.
Boneless shoulder. 250 baht per kg
Leg. 240 baht per kg
Shank. 255 baht per kg
Rack around 340ish baht per kg
How can they drop the price of the leg when it's already marked up at 280 per kilo?
Bunch 'o coonts!
^Thanks for that Bogon!.
Will definitely be in Macro again very shortly :)
^ Don't forget the 2kg of NZ cheese. :)
