It's a tough crowd, but I only have to survive until the missus comes back on the 17th - first night'll be a green curry chicken, next night a masaman pork...

After the last few photos I decided to put a couple of mine up. I took two 1 kilo pork fillets and marinated them in olive oil, garlic and onions for 24 hours. Then skewered up some red bell peppers, mushrooms, and more onions.

I then made a rice pilaf and had an easy meal all done in the oven in just over an hour.

The roast and skewers just done.

It's English sausage that should be plucking your garters, Patsy; you know that...

    It's referred to as bark.

Wife is out of town, so did up some barbecued ribs, Cajun potato salad, pinto beans with ham hocks and some garlic bread. This is about a once a month meal as its loved by all.

    ^ Doesn't look appetizing.

Did one kilo of burger patties to stick in the freezer. Keep it plain and simple.

    1 kg of mince.
    breadcrumbs, milk, s+p.
some dried oregano and basil, smoked paprika.

Make 8 patties out of the 1kg.

    7 went into the freezer.

The other became a Jalapeno cheese burger with crappy fake cheese ( ) and imported tomato relish for an afternoon snack.

Jalapeno juice obviously has some sort of chemical reaction with fake plastic cheese.
