Just arrived back from Oz and was staying with my big sister.

Free-range poached eggs and bacon on home made toasted bread was lovely.

Now back in Thailand 4 coffees and half a dozen ciggies for breakfast.

Piss easy to make and a real crowd pleaser

1) a couple of chicken tits
2) a packet of french onion soup mix
3) a can of apricot nector
4) bung it all in a dish wiv a lid and cook it in the oven
5) have a few wobbly pops while waiting ( about an hour 30)
6) take a pic and post it on the blokes cookery thread

Threw 2 browned chicken breasts, an onion, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, a tablespoon of dijon mustard and a teaspoon of ginger with a pork stock cube and 6 apricot halves in the slow cooker about 7 hours ago.

The wife's rang a few times, but who needs a wife with a slow cooker and that fucker will still be good in the morning, unlike her

It's closed as of now and they've flogged everything even the barstools obviously because they couldn't find a better offer and will now be handed back to the owner minus a 9 year lease.

Shane really, the place was a great family pub with play area but in the wrong location and there will be a load more go by the wayside in this financial climate.

Popped down Walking Street last week for the first time in yonks, walked past 2 Indian nightclubs blaring out Bangra Funk and a couple of Chinese tourist groups and came home.

It's gone to the dogs this place although the Chinese will sort that problem out and all these bars will turn from sleaze into takeaways or something that serves the Indian and Chinese community.

I do see a family friendly city soon, a decrepit one. Fuck this shit hole I'm outta here

Hua Hin (aka God's waiting room) where you may die of boredom before Christmas even if you're a golfer, Bangkok where you too can sit in traffic fuming for 3.5 hours getting to Foodland and back, or Koh Tao where being murdered is always on the cards. There's always England of course, think about moving back there for a few hours then you'll be going nowhere
