Might give them a whirl on me next shopping spree.

Replacing me deep fried Hash Browns with toast, and me evening snack of deep-fried spring rolls with Banana and cinnamon on toast.

Me body is becoming a temple.

Yes, mate, I know Ayam are Malaysian. In fact, if you're ever over the border, their tinned curries aren't three bad if you're nursing a hangover!

Didn't know they sourced their beans from 'mericuh though...

    ^ Happens automatically.

Some sort of forum glitch. Previously it changed pics to a large map of Libya. It's randomly changed gifs for a while now. I've picked up that Giphy hosting site is safe from it, so I upload to there.

Our homestay opens on 1 August and we continue to refine various elements. This morning the wife did a dress rehearsal of the breakfast on her own. I thought it went well. Certainly tasted good after we finished taking photos.

Our version of overnight oats with cut fresh fruit. Will be ready on level 2 when the guests come out for an early tea/coffee.

Guest can take it out onto the balcony if they want.

Hot English style breakfast is served in the level 1 dining room. Paprika flavoured pork sausages, fried or scrambled eggs, mushrooms sauteed in garlic butter, home made potato cake, baked beans and thick toast (with real salted butter) and spreads.

^ looks great, Brookes or Ayam beans?

I'd prefer half a slice of fried bread to the 2 toast myself and why is the toaster only toasting the middle?

    That does look good.

Wife was away at the weekend so yesterday I took the opportunity to eat the bacon.

No typo or grammar or syntax error in that: I emptied the refrigerator and ate all the bacon that we had in the house.

Brook this morning, but I do have Ayam in the pantry as well...tomato sauce and curry sauce. The four slice toaster we got in Makro can't quite handle the length of the bread. So this morning the wife did a two stage cooking process, turned them up side down half way through. We need to buy another toaster to handle the bread size or cut off about a centimeter from the top. Cannot find a suitable toaster in Nan province and no online shops indicate the internal toasting size. Think I'd prefer to see something in the flesh before buying it. Regards, -BiP

We ate 500 grams of fatty tasteless Makro source bacon yesterday. Unfortunately still have another packet and a half left. Kind of destroys your belief in life getting disappointed by bacon.

I hear you on that one.

The bacon I had wasn't the best truth be told... But it was still all the bacon and a rare treat

^ It does indeed. But how will BiP deal with someone staying for a week? Same breakfast every day? Or are you going to have people who only stay one night?
