He could just let his food ( and SMALLER pics) do the talking.

A number of TD members have eaten there, so if it was good then his rep will spread very very quickly, just like an upturned pyramid.

When I'm in BKK ; a visit for sure.

BTW I am eating some Thai beef marinaded in garlic infused butter ( I made it...shite) and dried squid with warm ...........

Do an honest and unbiased review I think it might help settle the dust man. I'd like to see the whole clan back here posting as members of the forum They each brought a some strong personality to the forum

Scampy - the dude doesn't need a forum all his own. Bullshit idea, more of the same that he's being criticized here for, isn't it? You could still do a couple youtube recipe shorts though as long as they were about the food not Timbas or Scampy's video service. I think it would be better received than those posted by DD that have nothing to do with posters here.

Wow! I got to admit this went pair shaped in a hurry, though I'm certain I threw out a caution in virtually my first post in one of Timbers first threads that obviously went overloooked..

The piece of irony here that strikes me the most is that I had not known that the shit hit the fan until just reading a comment in the repo thread and came here to see what was happening? That's because I had lost interest for many of the reasons already stated here..Now I find myself behind on all of the dirt..Damn!!

What about the next farang chef, then does he deserve his own posting "preserve"? And the next, and next, so on and so forth.

Its great the guy has an incredible resturant, but I don't think he's such a cut above any of the other posters that take the time, post the pictures and give the recipes and instructions without self promotion. Its about sharing with the forum community, not just being focused on one topic.

A bit of a balance needs to be found. And while I'm the last one that should speak on that topic, its still the about being part of the greater forum community.
