German man discovered dead inside his Central Pattaya Hotel room.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Manot from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Malibu Show Bar and Guest House on Pattaya Second Road in Central Pattaya to deal with a fatality at the location. Inside room number 403, Police examined the body of Mr. Klaus Nuegebauer aged 63 from Germany who was found slumped in a chair. Evidence of medication including Aspirin suggested he may have been suffering from some form of Heart problem. Police checked the room and found nothing suspicious. Mr. Neugebauer checked-in on 21st January and staff at the Malibu Bar indicated the man drank heavily on a daily basis. On Tuesday Morning, the cleaners entered the room and discovered the corpse. The German Embassy has been informed and a post mortem examination is now underway. Police have recorded the incident as death by natural causes
