American ex-serviceman found dead inside his Central Pattaya Condo.
At around Midday on Monday, Police Lieutenant Colonel Manot from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Roong Far Condominium Complex on the Sukumvit Road in Central Pattaya. A member of staff at the Condo made this gruesome discovery after noticing a foul odor from room number 514/112 which is owned by Mr. Jack Allen Div, a retired US Navy Officer. His decomposing body was found on the sofa. Police checked the room and body and could find nothing suspicious and recorded the case as death by natural causes. They are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination but suspect a heart attack was the cause of the death. The American Embassy in Bangkok has been informed of the death.

Strange how often they give the actual room numbers of the places where people are found dead. Considering the locals' fear of ghosts, I guess this condo, and others like it, will be hard to sell.....
