English man dies in his Central Pattaya Apartment.
Police Captain Suriyar from Pattaya Police Station was called to the The Jom Apartments on Pattaya Second Road on Thursday Afternoon to inspect the body of Mr. Raymond Cordinor aged 58 from England who had passed away inside room number 409. Also in the room was his girlfriend, Khun Prapawalin aged 36. She explained that the pair used to stay at the High Five Hotel in front of Soi 8, but had to leave after Mr. Cordinor failed to pay his hotel bill. He then found this room but the hotel had kept his passport until the bill was paid. He was known to be suffering from Diabetes and because of his poor financial situation; it led him to drink heavily which is believed to have contributed towards his death. He will now undergo a post mortem examination under the watchful eyes of the English Embassy in Bangkok.
