Does that mean that only the people of one faith will be the ones to make it to heaven? Or, will some people of all faiths make it to heaven?
I'm merely reporting to others what Jesus Christ, who claimed to be sent from the Father, said, ie, that He is the Way.

That says, at least to me, that there is only one way to the Father, His Son, whom the Father sent into the world so that the world might be saved and not to condemn the world.

    Joh 3:17

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
    1Jo 4:14

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

...That says, at least to me, that there is only one way to the Father, His Son, whom the Father sent into the world so that the world might be saved and not to condemn the world....

The quotes you make are fine, except they do not answer the question.

Quit acting like a politician and simply answer the question.

You may not want to state it, but you do think, that one and only one faith will be the one to make it to heaven. So which one is it? Are you ashamed to say what you really believe?

He is a self-hating Christian fundamentalist. Maybe he can be saved and become an atheist.

I like your sense of humor. Right on man!

I wished I could say what I really think of Mr. Fake (a.k.a. kerux), but, then TD would ban me forever if I did.

And of course, I would like to tell him where he can put that stupid flag (B.S.). His speach is real clean christian speach.

The quotes answer your question. You just don't understand the answer.

    The answers are spiritually discerned.

    Question for kerux:

    When a person is baptized:

Should he be baptized in name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost?

    or,

Should he be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ?

    Spoken like a true christian.

I will tell you something man. I am a christian. And, you are right. I don,t like people who are anti-everything that is religious. However, they are that way because of blood sucking, money hungry, religious fakes like you who causes most people in this world to be against christianity. Why don't you try speaking truth and quit going in circles.

God commans us to study to show ourselves approved to rightly explain his word to others. You need to go somewhere and get on you knees and ask God to forgive you for being so stupid, and then, if you truly want to be a christian start speaking and teaching the truth.

There must be a million men like you in this world who have been bible trained to: if he says this...you say that and so on so that you have an answer for everything.

Read Acts 2:38 - Then maybe you will be able to talk, teach, preach.

    First steps, first.

What makes you think you're a Christian?

You've referred to me as a fake several times on this one thread, don't know how to ask a speicific question, and when you finally figure out how to, you don't want to say what you really think of me and don't like my use of the :bsflag to warn others of just that, and would like to tel me where to put it and then call yourself a Christian and judge me because I refuse to answer your questions after putting up with all this?

Hello. Where did the FAKE "Sir Kerux" go to?

es. I ask a question and though kerux would be the one to answer. But he is not here now?????

Sorry to say my friend, you sound like a fake to me!

No question is too tough. FAKE FAKE

You are not only a FAKE. You are an incompetent FAKE.

Why do you expect a "fake Kerux," no, an "incompetent fake Kerux," to be at your beck and call to answer questions it takes you several hours to formulate?

Christian's are people who obey God, or at least try to. To be a Christian you must try to be Christ like as commanded in the NT. I do attempt to do so.

To be exact, I am not perfect. I am a repented sinner who recently came back to God.

Paul and others said it more than once to not follow every new whim, but to follow the gospel that they preached and taught.

Every religious denomination that claims to be a successor of the Apostle Peter should read the Book of Acts. We should contend for the same experience for which he contended and preach the same message Peter preached. These are the only authentic marks of identification a seeker of truth dare trust.

Remember that Jesus entrusted to Peter the "keys of the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 16:19). This gave Peter the divine authority to once and for all proclaim the basic truths of doctrine upon which the NT Church would be built.

How did Paul feel about Peter's instructions? Paul preached and contended for the identical message and experience. Acts 19:1-6

If you claim to be Peter's successor, you preach and teach the same message as he did.

Now, since no question is too tough, as you stated in the opening OP. Please answer the questions that I have ask you.

Sounds to me like you think something you try to do, or attempt to do, or those who obey God or try to be Christ-like are Christians.

    Is that what you think?

Again you ask me questions. When are you going to answer mine? After all, you are the one who opened this thread to teach and stated that no question was too hard. If you want to open a bible discussion forum, do so, however, if you can't answer the simple questions that I have ask you I will not be part of it.

I might think about it after and only after you've recognized the fact that I'm not at your beck and call to answer your questions - particularly after being referred to as an 'incompetent fake.'

And you answer the one simple question I put to you.

That's probably one of the reason so many people are against religion, they can see through the bullshit that so many leaders leaders and overzealous preachers are trying to put forward. There is nothing wrong with people who truly believe in God and have faith in it, I think everyone can respect that. But it's hard to respect those who constantly speak in the name of God to show off and mask their insecurity in this world.

Which is why I greened Ceburat, and redded kerux. I have finally started to use the ignore filter, and would also suggest to those of you who value intelligent discussions to do the same.

There si only one thing more irritating than a troll, and that is a person replying to a troll. Believe me, I have been irritating at times myself, and there is no excuse for it!

i'd venture to suggest that's pretty close to the mark.

    Christians = followers of Christ.

    What's wrong with that ?

That is what a religion is - trying to work his way into favor with God.

    Can't be done.

He said nothing, absolutely nothing, about the finished work of Christ.

All he said was about what he was trying, attempting to do, his efforts.

Not a Christian, a well meaning religious person, but not a Christian.

You can't find one single verse in the entire Bbile to support his contention that a person who does those things is a Chrisitan. Not one.

That is the entire point and message of the Bible.

It God's work that makes someone a Christian, not their own.

It's Christ's work on the Cross, not man's work.

    "It is finished."

what about the virgin mary and the immaculate conception?

Could it be that Jesus got Mary pregnant and they made the whole story up?

I'm sure there have been a lot of girls that have tried that excuse since then and not got away with it," i swear to you god did it when i was sleeping"

pretty much everyone is born into a certain religion and don't have a choice, and by the time we are old enough to make our own minds up we have been through years of brain-washing and become small minded towards other religions.

IMO religion is used to control people who are gullible enough to believe it without question, all you need to know is the difference between right and wrong and you will be fine.

So just knowing the difference is all it takes?
