SAN FRANCISCO – An ex-California state senator pleaded guilty Wednesday to a racketeering charge in an organized crime and public corruption case centered in San Francisco's Chinatown.

Leland Yee could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in October after entering the plea to conspiracy to conduct and participate in affairs of an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering.

He appeared relaxed as he entered court in a dark suit and red tie, smiling and chatting with people in the audience.

The FBI arrested Yee and 19 others in 2014 during a series of raids, one of which targeted a Chinese fraternal organization. Yee was accused of soliciting and accepting bribes in exchange for providing help from Sacramento.

The FBI also alleged that the San Francisco Democrat, who was running for secretary of state at the time, conspired to connect an undercover agent with an international arms dealer in exchange for campaign contributions.

Yee previously pleaded not guilty to bribery, money laundering and other felony charges.

The arrests were the culmination of the FBI's multi-year investigation of Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow, the elected "dragonhead" of the Chinese fraternal group known as the Ghee Kung Tong.

The FBI alleges the association was a racketeering enterprise and that undercover agents laundered $2.6 million in cash from illegal bookmaking through the organization.

Chow has pleaded not guilty to money laundering and other charges.

Federal agents say one of Chow's associates was Keith Jackson, a former San Francisco school board president and well-known political consultant who raised money for Yee's unsuccessful mayoral run in 2011 and his bid for secretary of state.

Jackson, along with Yee, was accused of soliciting bribes in exchange for helping a business and influencing legislation.

Jackson pleaded guilty to the same racketeering charge as Yee on Wednesday.

Yee also discussed helping an undercover FBI agent get weapons worth $500,000 to $2.5 million, including shoulder-fired missiles, and explaining the entire process of acquiring them from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines to bringing them to the U.S., according to an FBI affidavit.

Yee said he was unhappy with his life and told the agent he wanted to hide out in the Philippines, the FBI affidavit says.

Found an additional piece on this creep.

Heh...check out this GUN-HATING CALIF. POL. ACCUSED OF HELPING SMUGGLE GUNS, AGREES TO PLEA DEAL.

In March 2014, State Sen. Leland Yee, in the midst of a campaign for secretary of state, was arrested in part of a massive raid in the FBI area, accused of political corruption and helping arrange illegal firearm deals on behalf of violent group in the Philippines.

That scandal was crazy enough, but adding fuel to the fire was the fact that Yee, a Democrat, was also an open supporter of tougher gun control laws and was a proponent of legislation in California to ban the sales of violent video games to children, a law that the Supreme Court subsequently struck down as unconstitutional. Yee was a critic of games like Grand Theft Auto, even though he apparently behaved in real life like one of its characters. He took political hypocrisy to brand new heights.

Today it all ends with a plea deal. He has agreed to plead guilty of one count of racketeering in federal court and faces the possibility of up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine."

New Jersey Democrat Official LeRoy Jones Punches Blind 75-Year-Old Veteran in the Face

“I hear this rumbling, ‘Where the blank is Bill Graves? I’m gonna kick his butt!’” Army veteran Bill Graves told WABC. Graves told the New York ABC affiliate he was deliberately sought out by his attacker after working as a poll watcher last month in the East Orange, N.J., primary. …

Graves was attacked by LeRoy Jones, chairman of the Essex County Democratic Committee. What makes the attack especially troubling is that Graves is completely blind in one eye, and legally blind in the other due to cataracts and glaucoma. …

Jones was interim chairman of the committee when the incident occurred. He was elected to a full term the following week, according to a press release on the committee’s website. “There is a time and season for everything, this is LeRoy Jones’s season to lead our county party,” said Democratic Assemblywoman Sheila Oliver at the time of Jones’ election. Oliver is the former Speaker of the New Jersey State Assembly."

Takes a special kind of asshole to punch a blind person but...was it his party affliation or was this dude basically an asshole to begin with so it's natural he becomes a Democrat?

” Top Obama Donor Charged With Sodomizing Teenage Boy, Judge Gives Him Some Bad News…

One of President Obama’s donors has worked to untangled himself from legal problems in Oregon. Terrence Bean, a top Obama bundler, has sought a civil remedy to a sex abuse charge after the 66 year-old donor and his 25 year-old boyfriend allegedly had sex with a 15 year-old boy at an Oregon hotel.
Bean, who raised over $1 million for President Obama’s presidential campaigns, was arrested in Oregon in November and charged with two counts of third-degree sodomy and one count of third-degree sex abuse.

Bean, a homosexual activist, apparently sought a civil remedy to the criminal charge and his attorneys, after clearing the court room, pitched a settlement agreement to the judge that had been arranged with the boy and his family.

However, the judge did not accept the agreement after he learned that Bean had once before escaped legal consequences for a similar offense from having offered a settlement.

Bean, who lives in Portland and is a prominent political fundraiser, proposed a civil compromise that could result in the dismissal of the criminal charges. Had the request been granted, the criminal charges against Bean would have been dismissed.

Circuit Judge Charles Zennaché said he was unaware of another child sex abuse case that has been settled by civil compromise.

In Oregon, judges have discretion to accept or deny a civil compromise.
In the Bean case, the alleged victim, now 17, supports the settlement and does not want to testify, said attorney Lori Deveny, who represents the boy.
Reportedly, the prosecution offered three other accusations with similar circumstances that accuse Bean of a pattern of inappropriate behavior.
Bean." has flown on Air Force One and has visited the White House more than 30 times, according to the official visitor logs. On one occasion, Bean was accompanied by his boyfriend, Kiah Lawson, who faces the exact same charges as Bean for his alleged role in the sodomy of a teenage boy.

As America’s mainstream media scrutinizes Donald Trump’s comments to assess his character, few look leftward to attempt and discover who maintains ties with the President Obama.

To an extent, we are to be judged by the company we keep. With President Obama maintaining a cozy relationship with a donor who has engaged in such perversion and who has sought to merely bribe his way out of the predicament, it should invite questions involving Obama’s character"

PA Democrat with links to former Gov. Ed Rendell one of the four indicted on corruption charges.

"It's a no brainer, unless you rely on MSNBC for news, that Ed Rendel is challenged only by Hillary as the most corrupt living Democrat pol. Like Obama, everything he did as mayor and governor was "in your face." As mayor of Philadelphia, a city ruled by mafia union thugs, he was to modern Dem presidential aspirants what Richard Daley's Chicago machine was to JFK , or what Jim Wells County in Texas was to LBJ. How many votes do you need? You gottem! Under Rendel, Philadelphia shamelessly increased voter rolls every year even when it meant the voter pool exceeded 100% of the city's population. But like Hillary, whom he championed time and again, it will not matter that one of his fixers is tied to him. He'll skate because he knows where all the dead bodies are buried."

Look up the definition of corruption in a dictonary and there's a picture of a Democrat every time.

Got nothing on these criminal conservatives.... greedy bastards every single one of them and don't care whose money they steal....

McKINNEY -- Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has been booked Monday into Collin County jail on felony charges alleging that he misled investors before becoming the state's top lawyer.

Prosecutors allege that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton fraudulently told a state lawmaker he had personally invested in a tech startup before offering the lawmaker the chance to buy more than $100,000 in stock in the company.

An indictment unsealed Monday alleges that Republican state Rep. Byron Cook didn't know that Paxton was getting compensation from Servergy Inc. A Collin County grand jury heard evidence that Paxton had been given 100,000 shares of Servergy stock.

Servergy is the target of a federal securities investigation over allegedly deceiving investors.

Paxton arrived at the jail to be processed on two counts of first-degree securities fraud and a lesser count of failing to register with state securities regulators.

The 52-year-old Republican was fingerprinted and photographed before being released on bond.

Protesters who gathered near the Dallas-area jail where Attorney General Ken Paxton was booked on felony charges are calling for him to resign just months after he was sworn into office.

Texas Democratic Party officials joined with a few dozen other protesters on the steps of the Collin County Courthouse Monday. Some carried signs that read "Axe Paxton" and "Not above the law."

Manny Garcia, deputy executive director of the state party, told WFAA-TV that Paxton has admitted violating state securities laws and should step down.

Questions about Paxton's financial dealings have shadowed the tea party conservative since he took office in January.

Paxton joins former Gov. Rick Perry as the second high-ranking Texas official in the past year to be indicted while in office.
