Fox host shreds Scalise for not having ‘moral courage’ to resign after ‘associating with David Duke’
Fox News host Greta Van Susteren over the weekend called on Majority Whip Steve Scalise, the number three Republican in the House, to resign after he admitted speaking at a conference of white supremacists in 2002.
Scalise, who once described himself as “David Duke without the baggage,” said last week that he had made a “mistake” by speaking to the group founded by the former KKK Grand Wizard.
During a panel discussion on Sunday, Washington Post reporter Robert Costa predicted that Scalise would weather the political storm because he had “expressed regret.”
But Susteren said that the Republican Party had missed a “huge opportunity” in its outreach to minority voters by not asking Scalise to resign.

Must be a rainy day in Hades when the GOP even manages to appall Fox News. Nice one fellas.![]()
^ Cool, thanks for the FOX Nation update, was wondering what was going on!
I found the popcorn, anybody?
Never boring, Fox News tells women how to please their man.
"Co-host Peter Doocy is always up for offering helpful romantic advice. “No matter where a woman was in life, she should always be able to cater to her man’s needs."
You got that right, Doocy!

Where they pen such drivel as this:
"Let's abolish West Point: Military academies serve no one, squander millions of tax dollars"
They didn't 'pen' it, they published it. The author is a long serving lecturer at Annapolis, protected by the fact he has academic tenure- I believe Annapolis is unique among the US military academies in this regard.Originally Posted by Boon Mee
As you know, I am a graduate of a military academy myself. Do I agree with him? No. Do I support his right to write his opinion, and Salon etc right to publish it? Of course.

^ congrats on the graduating Military Academy, on what discipline did you serve? Respect.
^ I was admiited to the Royal Australian Naval College as a junior entry Cadet Midshipman, at the ripe old age of 15. Guess I'm giving away my age- 'junior enrtry' (where you completed your last two years of school at the college before proceeding to uni) finished long ago, budget reasons. And officer training is now done at a tri-service academy in Canberra, ADFA. One of my classmates is now Head of the Navy.
Cheers.Respect.One things for sure- I couldn't do it now.
^Cheers, I hear you. At the ripe old age of 46, I now feel ancient - compared to what I did in my Enlisted years.
Anyway, back on subject, those rascally FOX news nation people!
Fox News Commentator Just Claimed Birmingham Is A Muslim-Only City #FoxNewsFacts
Steven Emerson said: "And in Britain, it's not just no-go zones, there are actual cities like Birmingham that are totally Muslim where non-Muslims just simply don't go in."
interesting. I lived in Birmingham for a few years. Maybe I am muslim after all? Problem is, 100 million americans will now believe that Birmingham is a muslim city. Wonder if they will confuse it with Birmingham, Alabama, and bomb that?

That's (Fox) News to me- whenever I'm in brum I head to the 'Balti triangle' (Sparkbrook/ Sparkhill) for a curry at least once. My mate John, a commercial artist who is entirely anglo, has actually lived there since the early 80's- and still does. He's yet to be firebombed or robbed, and we both enjoy a decent curry. Then we head on to neighbouring Moseley for a few pints. Not exactly unusual to see muzzies having a pint there too, albeit not of the pajama suit or burkha wearing variety.Originally Posted by pseudolus
Indeed. I found it very tough living there. It was quite annoying to have my head chopped off every day, suicide bombed on a weekly basis, fiddling for loose change for a coffee when I had had my hand chopped off for something or other, and the constant pressure to not venture out on the streets because I was an infidel and not welcome unless I converted.
It was a nightmare.

Are you quite sure you weren't in Alabama? They don't much like non-Christians or, gasp, Atheists down there..Originally Posted by pseudolus
You definitely weren't in Alabama, not if you wanted to drink spirits on Sundays, anyway.Originally Posted by sabang

Actually I have, on a few occasions. I worked there for a while too.Originally Posted by Boon Mee

You are about as likely to see that discussed as the simple statement "We Were Wrong". Tragically wrong.
