Really, why would having more mental illness and suicide per capita relate to protestant heritage? Links?
South Koreans have been brought up in Buddhist religion, and now are about split between Buddhists, and Christians. South Korea has the second highest suicide rate in the world. I think that has more to do with the culture than the religion, which of course is part of it, but not the full story.
