I don't get the 'nuance' of applying 'courage' to insurgents who demand the withdrawal of troops from their country within 2 years, nor how they would be more courageous "than the liberals of the western world."
We have been talking about 'courage' in relation to suicide bombers, there was no mention of any Western "liberals" up to now.
I reckon either SK's English isn't all it could be - he has made statements before which didn't make any sense grammatically nor content wise - or he's deliberately posting non-sense.
Probably a mixture of the two.
As for the Insurgents making an 'agreement' to end attacks for the withdrawal in 2 years:
Some of the 60 insurgent groups have made the agreement - not all.
Will this agreement last? Maybe. Maybe not.

Where would one toss the insurgents out to, since most of them are locals?
It's a bit like proposing to send the Southern Thai Muslims 'home'.![]()

If this was a viable option don't you think it would have been done already?
SK and think????
Ha!
^ well, I think a better solution would be to nuke the whole region. Easy, clean, and fast. How is that ?
Stupid idea - for a start, the Mexicans and the Canadians will suffer fron the fallout.......Originally Posted by Butterfly

We are on a moral crusade folks................
More a crusade of double-moral, by the sound of it...
But that's to be expected of the religious right and the ultra-conservative camp.

Seems better than the certain future of a suicide bomber.Originally Posted by Boon Mee

Lets see how many Muslim countries invaded other countries in the past 100 years and how many were invaded by America in the last 100 years??
You sad sack sausage jockey.

Drinking again Mhz? Isn't that against your religion?
It's a sure sign of weakness to have to resort to public name calling.
What good would that do, Mhz?
Looking at statistics (if there are any) would be just taking the disagreement to a different level. I'd say Mr. Earl and yourself are at opposite extremes, and I don't see it being resolved anytime soon.
I'm glad you've recently had this insight.Originally Posted by Mr Earl

I rarely if ever stoop to direct name calling of Mhz. Your snide insinuation isn't apropos.Originally Posted by stroller

^ But, do you get the point ?
^^ Bush in the Hague should nourish it eh??
Not quite sure what point you are trying to make. That countries that frequently go to war are somehow more liberal, sorry, make that "have more liberty"?Originally Posted by Storekeeper
And who gets to decide who is patriotic and who is supporting a tyrant?
no, but did you ?Originally Posted by Storekeeper
