Nope, guess again. No faith, no god, no evidence.

I presume you mean facing death, or the prospect of.

Poor/incorrect use of the word reconcile. Do you mean believe?

This from an alleged Ajarn. For the sake of your students, I really hope not...

Because reality will clearly demonstrate how utterly retarded those that believe this bullshit are.

How do they explain carbon dating? Radioactive half-lives? Rock strata? Universal constants, such as light speed?

The power of myths within cultures is overwhelming. Why? because myths provide certainty and assurance in the face of uncertainty and mystery. Science will never make converts of the ignorant because science provides no reassurance in the face of fear.

Do they only believe that earth was created 6,000 years ago, or the entire universe?

If the latter, then how do they explain telescopes that are now seeing things that occurred 5 billion years ago.

If the former, then how do they reconcile that we are on a minute planet of such insignificance in the universe.

it's quite funny to make fun of all those beliefs and religions, but the joke is really on us, we all believe in some kind of myths, no matter how ridiculous and improbable they are.

Even the "atheists" are believers in something they can't even prove it doesn't exist, how fucking awesome is that ?

It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion.

No the word usage was specifically chosen Lets face it .... Someone had to be whats the word, ahh yes, anal retentive enough to notice

No faith? No god?... That is an interesting take...... However I think it's funny that you would say it that way when you are such an ardent believer that there is no god... Seems you have faith in something, however misguided, after all.... happy new year....

    Praying to whom?

    Do you mean anally retentive?

Just pointing out someone who calls themselves a teacher should at the very least be able to use english correctly.

No faith or belief in anything here. Why do religious types like to use this lame argument? An absence of faith doesn't mean I must have faith in something else.

"The term anal retentive (also anally retentive), commonly abbreviated to anal, is used conversationally to describe a person with such attention to detail that the obsession becomes an annoyance to others, and can be carried out to the detriment of the anal-retentive person. The term derives from Freudian psychoanalysis."
