Them bloody Brits, ain't they just special now. This must be an example of proper British diplomacy:

Helicopter Crash Sparks Clash in Iraq

Shiites in Basra Attack British Troops

By Nelson Hernandez and Omar Fekeiki
    Washington Post Foreign Service
    Sunday, May 7, 2006; Page A22

Residents of Basra -- Iraq's second-largest city -- have also had an increasingly adversarial relationship with the British army, which has occupied the area since the invasion. The 8,000 British troops have repeatedly clashed with Sadr's militia, which is stridently opposed to the presence of foreign soldiers in Iraq. The British also attempted to disarm Iraqi police units earlier this year, arguing that they have been infiltrated by militia members.

Residents were enraged by the discovery in February of a video from 2004 showing British troops beating an Iraqi teenager.

The governor of Basra province broke off relations with the British force after the video became public, but reestablished them in recent weeks. Prior to the helicopter crash, 104 British troops had died in Iraq.

^ Well if the fokers won't have a nice cup of tea and a scone and learn to play cricket then there is no reason to be nice to them. Of course, if they can produce a good leg spinner then they will become as British as a Vindaloo or Balti.

How about this quote from your own lovely little island:

British troops in Iraq are afraid to open fire

British troops in Iraq "lack the confidence to open fire" because of a "fear of prosecution", says a confidential Ministry of Defence (MoD) report seen by The Sunday Telegraph.
It confirms that soldiers believe that if they shoot dead insurgents they will become embroiled in a "protracted investigation" and if prosecuted will receive "no support from the chain of command".

Let's go back on topic here. War lovers. Cowards hidding behind their desk dreaming of heroic battles they will never see. Toilet paper boys who crave to be the center of attention one day by becoming a hero he knows he can't be.

Bush jr, Richard Perle (who incidently spent all his time in France, in the South, fucking traitor) and friends are a disgrace for the poor souls sacrificing their life for the defense of their country.

    More on Richard Perle here

Somehow I just don't think you really meant to say this.

If we were Third World ignorant savages, this cartoon might inspire us to start a riot. Instead we laugh at the Palestinians.

This is pretty much how I feel about Islamofascists nowadays. Wonder how long it will take for this to start a riot?

By your tone of writing it suggests you do not give a damn about other peoples feelings. You seemn to post this to get a negative reaction.

It leads me to assume that you are one of the war lovers as above mentioned.

    The tone of my writing?
I posted the cartoon(s) in reaction to the Islamos pissing on the Statue of Liberty.
What's so hard to fathom about that?

From a guy who posts a load a potentialy "riot starting" garbage, hoping to get this reaction. You say who cares????

You seem to be on the same wave length as the guys who start fights "wars" and do not care a shit about the outcome.

As the second world war poster said, "loose talk costs lives".

Why don't you keep your mouth shut and it may well save the lives of many people.

    Living in hope .

That’s par for the course in the dishonest, ethically-challenged childish babbling that passes for leftist “debate” in this modern age. Suppose the Mohomad cartoon controversary was basically OK with you? Freedom of speech & press just 'cause someone should keep their mouth shut.

"Just keep your mouth shut" .... bullshit advice if I ever heard any. Yeah, don't do or say anything and the problem might go away and it might not. The people who don't give a shit are the those on the left. All they do is pretend to care about anything. It's so much easier to bash others or just praise the go along to get along crowd.

poor buger, give him a break, after all he sincerely admitted he was wrong...

Bush's bizarre response caused waves of speculation that his answers were being fed through to him via an ear piece and this became a major talking point during the Bush-Kerry election debates.

"John, I'm sure historians will look back and say, gosh, he could've done it better this way or that way. You know, I just -- I'm sure something will pop into my head here in the midst of this press conference, with all the pressure of trying to come up with answer, but it hadn't yet," said Bush as he puffed out his cheeks, fumbled for words, and faltered like a deer in the headlights.

Talking about "babbling", I have yet to spot a comment of yours in "Issues" constructively contributing to any debate. Posting 'funny' pics and 'winding' doesn't quite cut it.

Both cartoons are okay with me .

Freedon of speech is fine, freedom to incite a violent reaction is another matter.

Do you think that we should let the some islamic clerics the opportunity to stir up racial hatred, all in the name of free speech? I do not think we should and I do not think that you would agree with that. If you do it however it is fine and anyone that suggest you should stop is against free speach.

    Huh!!!!

Freedom of speech is another way of defending yourself when you did something wrong.

For example, you know that if you snatch the ice cream from a child's hand he or she wil start crying and kicking. So what do you do??

Slap the kid and say shut-up??

    Or

Stop the elder person from doing so???

Most of the muslim clerics are uneducated and their followers as well.So if you are a good citizen of a good society then you should stop giving those clerics a chance to cause chaos.Otherwise their is no point in asking why they react in that way??

No rational person loves war. IMHO.
But a rational person recognizes there is indeed good and evil in this world.

The leftist say this is a simpletons viewpoint that the world is not black and white but various shades of equivocation!

Moon-bats like Ward Churchill go as far to say that the people who died on 9/11 deserved it.
Here we have MHz who wants to debate whether it even happened or not!
    Both are out of touch.
War is ugly but the likes of Hitlers, Stalins, Mao tse Tung, Polpot, Saddam are even uglier.
The anti-war crowd likes to blame the americans for starting wars. America is a big easy target for these people because the US is really an open book.
You are allowed to criticize the USA.
Ever wonder what happened to the people who criticized Saddam, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Polpot? Yes millions died!
And america is the great evil? Get real!
