There was a very good documentary about this incident with an explanation from Colonel Zoltán Dani how they achieved the hit. I can't find it at the moment but it is well worth a watch.

This is the problem with just googling and picking up information without any knowledge of the subject. Many guided systems are add-on kits to conventional unguided bombs.

When you hear that Russia is using dumb bombs it means they are dropping the conventional unguided bombs without the add-on kit required for guidance precision.

There have been photos posted of UXBs that clearly show NO guidance add-on kit has been fitted.

So any party that denies the existence of these labs is either deliberately dealing in misinformation, or woefully misinformed. I trust the matter of their existence- or lack thereof, has been laid to rest now.

I can not at all vouch for the accuracy of this, but I read that the Russians have destroyed or captured six such labs so far.
