Just saw a reportage from Ukraine on danish TV.

Foreigners are experiencing difficulties buying food. they get a ..no..if they aren't ukrainians.

A group of nigerian students (uni of Kharkiv)was filmed and the drivers wouldn't let them board busses to Poland.

All ukrainian refugees are at the moment VIP in Denmark.

Wellfare, work permits, school from day one. So far so good.

Except if the folks fleeing the war is from Nigeria or something "worse".

    Bon appetit

    He tweeeted

I don't think you'd find him out in the streets cheering Russia on, though that's something you'd have to ask him.

^^^As he posted there is/was a big greek colony in the Ukraine.

I know that when the "reds" lost the civilwar post WW2, many was exiled to Ukraine.

Could be that he has relatives there.

And a nuanced view of things

❗️Radicalized elements within the Ukrainian armed forces have begun detaining elected officials, including a member of parliament Nestor Shufrych, who had earlier called for an immediate end to the war. https://twitter.com/RussiaUSA/status/1499806666845569034/video/1

American war criminals in Ukraine in 2016, egging them on to fight Russia

US Senators Lindsey Graham, John McCain & Amy Klobuchar in December 2016 telling Ukrainian troops that they would help #Ukraine make 2017 a "year of offense" against #Russia & it was time to make Russia "pay a heavier price". https://twitter.com/morphonios/status/1498981966921797634/video/1

“There is true panic in the market. This will cause starvation”.

The price of wheat has doubled in the last week. Unprecedented.

I just spoke to commodities analyst who says Iraq tendered to buy 2 millions of tonnes of wheat today and will pay c$500m more as a result. https://twitter.com/ITVJoel/status/1499685171624386563/photo/1

You know i am listening to Dark Side of the Moon and i've realised that the situation with Ukraine feels exactly like those times again....the clock has been wound back nearly 50 years and what's changed?

Fukin sad, and all because of one cvnt called Putin who needs to be off'd. Lets hope for the sake of the next few generations he doesn't see the summer.

Russian has chosen its own path since the USSR break up. Its allowed its wealth to get passed into the hands of a few criminals and its people subjugated under a dictator, its no different now than under the Tsar they off'd to achieve their Proletarian state.

What do they think is going to happen to them if they joined the 21st Century Sab?

I read your reply, and you have really cherry picked your facts

Here is the list of countries by GDP ... Countries by GDP: The Top 25 Economies in the World

    • Russia is the world’s 11th largest economy, with a GDP of $1.48 trillion as of 2020, 3% lower than in 2019.

    • Spain had a GDP of $1.28 trillion in 2020, making it the 14th largest economy in the world by GDP

If you didn't like the Spain comparison, take Italy ... the world’s eighth largest GDP belongs to Italy at $1.89 trillion in 2020.

Then, let's not forget that the Russian Share/Stock Market has crashed so quickly it had to closed this past week to halt the selling AND the Ruble looks more like rubble at the moment, having almost halving this past month.

On balance, I'm happy with the Russian/Spain comparison.

You can't measure Russia's GDP in nominal terms. The proper way to measure GDP in the world is PPP. And in PPP terms , Russia has the 5th biggest GDP in the world. Which lines up with all the other data

List of countries by GDP (PPP) - Wikipedia

. You can't cherry pick around reality. It's not physically possible for a county to have the 4th most reserves , 4 most electricity production and 5th most billionaires while having the 12th or 13th biggest economy.

Where's my cringe thread ? This is being shared by legit mainstream media

EXCLUSIVE: Two different outfits have been sent to kill the Ukrainian president — mercenaries of the Kremlin-backed Wagner group and Chechen special forces. Both have been thwarted by anti-war elements within Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB)

Wagner mercenaries in Kyiv have sustained losses during their attempts and are said to have been alarmed by how accurately the Ukrainians had anticipated their moves. A source close to the group said it was “eerie” how well briefed Zelensky’s security team appeared to be

    It gets better

Ukrainian officials claim the information that led to the deaths of the Chechens came from disgruntled agents in the FSB who oppose the invasion.

“I can say that we have received information from the FSB, who do not want to take part in this bloody war”

The parliament of Ukraine posted it too !

This is being nicknamed the 'Tik Tok war' in some quarters. How appropriate, to remind us who the one true winner of this war will really be.

I think you said much the same thing when I pointed out the only real winner of the US invasion of Iraq, was Iran.

Perhaps you should get more realistic information by comparing corruption levels in Spain and Russia?
Of course you won’t do that because it’s more relevant in a democracy, which Russian people have been denied for too long, the poor bastards. All because of Putin and his pointless war.
ETA OhOh disagrees with you, but he’s another pointless tool of the Russian state corruption.
