Most of the first 20-21 years of my time in the Navy we were mostly just a big stick. With the exception of the very short Desert Shield/ Desert Storm period. And then 9/11 went down and it seems the country lost it’s mind. Something that should have been nothing more than a month or so bombing campaign turned into an unnecessary full scale couple decades long war. Yeah, I supported it ... supported the troops but I still blame it on the civilians. The USA is ran by the civilians. As it should be.

On the second thought - yes, they were some "forced out": the ones who prepared for the Navy base of (please no names here). However, they were not "forced out", they disappeared very fast...

I understand that the people who are profiting from wars do want the wars.

But why ordinary people do support and apologize wars and the murdering? Beside the fact that even many of those are killed and maimed by the wars...

Anyway, is it fair to point out that attacking troops are generally more unpopular than defending troops?

No, the defending troops are all psychopathic nutjobs because they joined a military.

I did answer. Perhaps you are a little too dim to understand the answer. Psychopaths in Ukraine caused it, and psychopaths in Russia escalated it. The annexation had FUCK ALL to do with ethnic Russians and everything to do with why the psychopaths in the US so desperately wanted Russia not to have it.
