Do a poll on whether you got owned or not, that's the point now.

Exactly, the 100.000 is a red Hering for those not familiar with the territory.

This about sums it all up, IMO. I don't see how Robski is being "owned" here?

Well, there's quite a bit of controversy re. global warming as we all know - so, here's a book to consider that perhaps puts balence in the debate?

You always come up with the goods. Thanks, Boon Mee. I wish I could argue my point as well as people like that.

We'll have to put them all straight on this subject next.

Absolutely, but the problem with debating the cons (are there pros?) of Islam is you get called a racist or worse. it's a toughy...

Not only do you have to fight against being called a racist, but the religion itself allows very little tolerance. So, even dissenting Muslims end up being called traitors. It's really a no win situation with Islam. You can't criticize it, for fear of being condemned or killed, and you can't try to engage it in rational secular discussion because it doesn't recognize secular discussion as valid.

This is a non starter with Islam and we will soon hear from the usual Mulslim puppets from this forum on the other side of this issue, with accompanying reds.

I don't know, perhaps there's hope for the future. We tend to have only images of OBL and other zealots played over and over again in our media, because moderates are boring, frankly. Moderates don't do enough to condemn extremism, granted, but Muslims are still human beings and want what everyone else does. It might seem like a contradiction but to define them only in terms of the most extreme interpretations of their religion is a bit one-dimensional, since so many different cultures have being Muslim as their only common trait.

Well, it seems my 30 minutes have expired and the charts were summarily taken down. As I recall, the source was stamped on the damn things - what's the problem???

The source was stamped on it.

I posted a thread the other day & provided the name & author of the book it was from, but Milkman still wanted a link, for some reason.

Seems silly, because if the thing was made-up, the link wouldn't be worth shit.

Not that there's a left-liberal bias here too, eh?
If a post does not meet with M/M or CMN's et. al's vision of 'how it's supposed to be', it'll be taken down. See now why RDN, Butterfly and a few of the others gave up on this here forum...

    To answer you and CO:

The source was not linked. I am not disputing your chart. Not at all.

Please put a link on all cut and pastes, snippets, and charts.

    This rule applies to everyone.

    Thanks. It's fair.

PM me is you have any questions. A link takes 3 seconds to do.

Boon, you can have this opinion but it's totally false.

I vote Libertarian, and have since 1996. Before that GOP.

I try my best to be as unbiased as possible, and I even let people with opposing view get away with rule violations because I know that I may be accused of being biased.

Well, when I run across those charts again I'll put 'em up w/link.

    Here's something interesting:

PASADENA, Calif. – A team of NASA and university scientists has detected an ongoing reversal in Arctic Ocean circulation triggered by atmospheric circulation changes that vary on decade-long time scales. The results suggest not all the large changes seen in Arctic climate in recent years are a result of long-term trends associated with global warming.

"Our study confirms many changes seen in upper Arctic Ocean circulation in the 1990s were mostly decadal in nature, rather than trends caused by global warming," said Morison.

Record ice cap growth in Antarctica and record low temperatures in Argentina won't stop global warming alarmists from manufacturing hysteria.

    "
Residents in Argentina and Brazil are wondering if this winter will ever end. Buenos Aires recorded this Thursday (November 15th) the lowest November temperature in 90 years. Temperature in the Downtown weather station reached 2.5C. Since records began more than a century ago, only two days had colder lows in November. It was in 1914 (1.6) and 1917 (2.4). And ninety years ago the urban heat island effect was much less pronounced than nowadays. In Brazil's southernmost province Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil temperatures fell to 2.3C. In Sao Joaquim Monday's (Nov., 12) the temperature was -1.2 C with frost."

I'm sure Al the Goreacle has some reasonable explaination, eh?

I heard one of these climate change racket merchants on the radio the other day, saying 'the debate on global warming is over now & people accept it's a man made problem', then proceed to tell everyone they have to pay more tax. These loons are totally sociopathic. How can you do business with maniacs like that?

If people can't see that this is all a scam, they are in the grip of advanced mental illness, too.

Taking your head out of the sand might be as good a start as any.
