After burning copious amounts of fossil fuel for two centuries, how could it NOT have an effect?

It's good to see the old codgers duffing each other up over this sort of stuff, or at least the Daily Mail/Fox News types getting all worked up and claiming the intellectual high ground... you should go over and drop this one on them, make sure you keep the headline, er hold on... it's not Thai related, they'll close it straight away, maybe they're not so daft after all.
