It seems that you has not known much about that. The Soviet propaganda had had quite opposite results on its listeners: at the end of the day, they did not believe even what was really true.

This is not the case of modern propaganda bombarding nowadays the uneducated citizens, so proud on themselves that they are part of such a strong imperium...

Where do you see anyone trying to dismiss the fact that Russia tried meddling in U.S. Politics. What I see being questioned is the collusion part. Russia has been trying to meddle in U.S. And many other countries politics for years,why is everyone acting so aghast at this one. Possibly a way to spur on the Trump haters.
