"CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference, has disinvited Milo Yiannopoulos, a senior editor at "Breitbart News," from delivering a keynote address at its upcoming event.

CPAC defended its original decision to invite Yiannopoulos as a nod to “the free speech issue on college campuses," and had asked Yiannopoulos to address the importance of free speech even by people whose views are unpopular.

    Hmmm.

At least the University of California at Berkeley invited Yiannopoulos and gave him a large auditorium for his address. The University never “disinvited” him. It had to cancel at the last minute when protests against him turned violent.

I hope and expect Trump will criticize CPAC for abridging Yiannopoulos’s freedom of speech. After all, Trump condemned Berkeley and threatened to withhold federal funds from the University, even though Berkeley wasn’t at all to blame for the last-minute cancellation there. CPAC is clearly culpable.

What do you think?". (Robert Reich)

Why would Trump even comment on it?

If Donald had any kind of ideological consistency (Other than to himself) I would expect him to criticize CPAC. However, since Donald has no ideological consistency (and he cannot benefit from it) I'm not expecting any criticism of any kind.

What a pile of crap. Berkeley is a federally funded public space who are obliged to host a variety of speakers of stakeholders there want them to come. Cpac can exclude who they want as long as it's not breaking discrimination laws, the same as the dnc or any other private group.

    Really gasping at straws.

Basically that's redneck for, "We on the right draw the line at celebrating pedophilia. Misogyny, racism, homophobia, trans-baiting, anti-Semitism, hate speech, Nazism, etc. all OK. But at least something is off limits".

I didn't realize being against pedophilia was strictly a lefty thing. Says a lot about the people that come to his defence.

No, that one is NOT just a lefty thing and nobody suggested it was. Nobody is defending him either so WTF are you on about. If anything is being "defended" it's his right to air his views and not be shut down just because over sensitive fuckwits are upset about things he sometimes says. That is not the same as defending HIM....

so you support paedophilia advocates being given the right to air their views and not be shut down because people are upset about the things they say.

tough day for the white supremecist crowd.....yianoppolous was rejected by CPAC and also had his book deal with simon and schuster cancelled....and now fox is reporting that breitbart is also going to kick him to the curb.

it was only a matter of time...but it did all come crumbling down quite quickly.

Offensive to even his fellow Breitbart colleagues. Maybe Milo will spend some of that cash he has collected from being a troll for a shrink.

Breitbart employees threaten exit over Yiannopoulos

Employees at Breitbart News are reportedly prepared to leave the company if controversial senior editor Milo Yiannopoulos is not fired.

Another senior editor at the publication told Washingtonian Monday that "at least a half dozen" employees are prepared to leave to organization because of remarks Yiannopoulos made about pedophilia that gained attention this weekend.

“The fact of the matter is that there’s been so many things that have been objectionable about Milo over the last couple of years, quite frankly. This is something far more sinister,” the senior editor said.

“If the company isn’t willing to act, there are at least half a dozen people who are willing to walk out over it.”

And quite coincidentally Salon took down its articles defending pedophiles, nothing co-ordinated about the milo takedown attempt , it was to be expected, the sexist racist stuff did not work and he was getting big so they threw the pedophile label at him to see if it would stick.

The guy was molested by an much older man when he was 13 over a long period of time and now he gets accused of being an advocate of pedophilia by the regressive left who not long ago were trying to mainstream its acceptance.

If you actually look at his record you will see him not only condemning the articles in salon, but exposing a number of pedophiles himself.

In the end the truth doesn't matter does it? My guess is that this grenade will be thrown back and explode in the faces of those who threw it in the first place.

Flynn was taken down, and now they are having a go at milo, if he sinks then its another significant win, lets see how it plays out. milo is holding a press conference tomorrow, his career depends on how he handles it.

    "Did all," what is all?

Again, I've never read or heard this Milo.

Stupid that anybody would support or follow - or be against this no talent hack.

It's like being famous for being famous.

He had 15....well, 5 minutes of shallow fame.

his brush with mainstream acceptance. he had a book deal with simon and schuster and he was going to speak at CPAC for god's sake. i wouldn't be surprised if he was in negotiations for a fox show.

    it's "all" gone now.

because while bigotry, anti-semitism, sexism, misogyny, and racism are acceptable in today's conservative politics, paedophilia is (currently) a bridge too far.

btw, not a word about this on the breitbart site. funny that.
