When I was in London this year I remember seeing meat with a big Union Jack on it saying "British Beef".
I thought to myself: "They are dummer then the Yankees with their nationalistic bullshit".

When I go shopping here in Germany I see beef labeled plainly german (no flag ), australian, argentina, u.s., ireland etc. but NO British. Just wonder why ?
Matter of fact I bought australian beef rumb last week. Good (competitive) price, good taste.
