Great shame for the arms manufacturers, but the only tangible threats to Britain are in the form of asymmetric warfare, generally handled by the police & spooks. The US just wants us to keep spending taxpayers money on expensive munitions to go hurt people in foreign places- and pad the pockets of 'aerospace' companies in the process (nice euphemism, that). Our very own British Aerospace wholeheartedly agrees, I'm sure! It's got nothing to do with Defence (another nice euphemism), and boasting about ones military might is like a short dicked man verbally inflating his penis. Walk softly, but carry a big stick.
