I guess 80s would be right, since the Bush Nazi Family has been in charge politically of the country
The aboriginal peoples did not favour bison. Some plains natives did. They followed the bison herds. There were no bison on the coasts where the majority of aboriginal people lived. The coastal natives fished. The interior aboriginals were usually nomadic, typically moving into a region and killing off all the edible animals and then moving on. As human beings, they were just as damaging to the ecosystems they invaded as the Europeans who invaded North America. Interior aboriginal people favoured slavery too, as they used their prisoners as sex slaves, or bearers. The male prisoners were typically killed off or ransomed back to their enemies. Native tribes often went to war with each other raiding others for food. It is a myth that native peoples lived in harmony with the land. Because of their smaller number, the damage they did was not as large as the hordes of settlers who followed. However, natives were humans and humans have a bad habit of destroying the planet wherever they exist.
Kindness is spaying and neutering one's companion animals.

Ukrainian Successors to Hitlerite Wehrmacht Rape and Murder in Saurovka

Small Russian Village Saurovka and the Banderovite Abominations
There is in Donbass an itty-bitty village – Saurovka. It’s right next to the Saur-Mogila Mound memorial. The Ukie army, being a direct successor to Hitlerite Wehrmacht, terribly hates Saur-Mogila, as it is a symbol of Russian valor in the Great Patriotic War. All the time their artillery and mortars lob shells directly at the memorial. But they cannot get any closer. On and around the Mound our fighters lie in wait. However, I am not here to talk about the defence of the memorial or of the [strategic] height.
I will talk about the little village of Saurovka. It’s really small. There are only 50 or so houses [in the entire settlement]. One day, the pravoseki [Right Sector militants] came there. NazGuard [National Guard], Azov-2 and Dnepr-2. And then they instilled European values in the village. They cut out[, murdered] all the men. They would cut them alive. They would cut the arms, then the legs. Then the head.
They did not cut the women – they raped them. And now they continue [to rape them], during the pauses between battles. Doubtlessly, the various fanboys of Europe and the Maidanites will say that these are made-up fairy tales. Nevertheless, all [that I said] is true. So, Messrs. Lyashko and Poroshenko, what was it that you were bleating about? A ceasefire? Something about how we need to disarm? There were no weapons in Saurovka …
Take note, chocolate baron, truth is on our side, and, one day, we will come for you. Yes, you, personally!
The forested area around Saur-Mogila continues to be replenshished with the fresh dead.
The pravoseki are inhuman not only toward the Donbass residents. Even their own they consider nothing but garbage. They don’t bury them properly. They do not care. They throw some earth on them, and the job’s done. The green of the forest [is soaked] with the smell of dead flesh. Sometimes they even leave their guns with the dead. Why care, right? Amreeka sponsors them, they’ll throw something new their way or buy [weapons] from some Poles.
They lob cluster shells at our guys. Not made in Ukie-stan. The shrapnel is such that, if it catches you, it will rip you up so that you can’t heal. A few days ago, militia fighters got a woman sniper with an “Utyes” [Note 1: NSV-12.7 “Utyes” machine gun]. Hello Poland! The girl was from there. She had the newest American automatic rifle 12.5mm calibre. We could not use the rifle. The heavy machine gun “Utyes” destroyed the [weapon].
I have a feeling that the Saur-Mogila Mound memorial is again becoming a symbol of Russian valour in the struggle against fascism. A few day ago, the Nazis refused to attack our strategic height, and the pravoseki then starting shooting at their own – to whip up the attack.
But then those [who were fired upon] got upset and started shooting back. Our fighters, looking from above, found this highly entertaining. If only the circus came by more often! However, this circus is not going to last long. Very soon we will push the Ukie-nazis out, from the outskirts of Saur-Mogila as well as from other places. Prepare your white shoes [Note 2].
Note 1: НСВ-12,7 «Утёс» (Индекс ГРАУ — 6П11) or NSV-12.7 “Utyes” (GRAU Index – 6P11) – is a Soviet-made 12.7mm large-calibre machine gun, intended for attacks on lightly-armoured targets and firepower equipment, infantry personnel of the enemy and air targets. See Wikipedia and RuWiki.
Note 2: The reference to “white shoes” is a suggestion to the Ukrainian Nazis to get ready to die, as in “white shoes” that are put on the dead when they are buried.

'Ukrainian Nazis crucify a baby and force mother to watch then murder her' - The Saker
On Saturday, I reported the stunning threat of reprisal killings by Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko: Ukraine President Threatens Resistance with Nazi Style Reprisal Killings. This remarkable report by the highly traveled blog, Vineyard of the Saker, describes a chilling incident alleged to have taken place at the hands of Ukraine forces in the Donbass region of that country where citizens are under attack by their own government. The videos are provided without alteration.
When will the Obama administration and Congress cut off the extremist, violence obsessed Ukraine central government? Michael Collins

Ignoring Ukraine's Neo-Nazi Storm Troopers
The U.S.-backed Ukrainian government is knowingly sending neo-Nazi paramilitaries into eastern Ukrainian neighborhoods to attack ethnic Russians who are regarded by some of these storm troopers as "Untermenschen" or subhuman, according to Western press reports.
Recently, one eastern Ukrainian town, Marinka, fell to Ukraine's Azov battalion as it waved the Wolfsangel flag, a symbol used by Adolf Hitler's SS divisions in World War II. The Azov paramilitaries also attacked Donetsk, one of the remaining strongholds of ethnic Russians opposed to the Kiev regime that overthrew elected President Viktor Yanukovych last February.
Yet, despite this extraordinary reality -- modern-day Nazi storm troopers slaughtering Slavic people in eastern Ukraine -- the Obama administration continues to concentrate its criticism on Russia for sending a convoy of humanitarian supplies to the embattled region. Suddenly, the administration's rhetoric about a "responsibility to protect" civilians has gone silent.
This same hypocrisy has permeated nearly everything said by the U.S. State Department and reported by the mainstream U.S. news media since the Ukraine crisis began last year. There was fawning coverage of the Maidan protesters who sought to overthrow Yanukovych and then an immediate embrace of the "legitimacy" of the regime that followed the Feb. 22 coup. As part of this one-sided U.S. narrative, reports about the key roles played by neo-Nazi activists and militias were dismissed as "Russian propaganda."
But the ugly reality has occasionally broken through the blinders of the Western press. For instance, on Sunday, in the last three paragraphs of a long article about the Ukraine conflict, the New York Times reported that the Ukrainian military strategy has been to pound rebel-held cities from afar and then turn loose paramilitary forces to carry out "chaotic, violent assaults."
"Officials in Kiev say the militias and the army coordinate their actions, but the militias, which count about 7,000 fighters, are angry and, at times, uncontrollable. One known as Azov, which took over the village of Marinka, flies a neo-Nazi symbol resembling a Swastika as its flag." [See Consortiumnews.com's "NYT Discovers Ukraine's Neo-Nazis at War."]
Actually, the Azov fighters do more than wave a Swastika-like flag; they favor the Wolfsangel flag of Hitler's SS divisions, much as some of Ukraine's neo-Nazis still honor Hitler's Ukrainian SS auxiliary, the Galician SS. A Ukrainian hero hailed during the Maidan protests was Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera whose paramilitary forces helped exterminate Jews and Poles.
Yet, this dark side of the Kiev regime generally gets ignored by the mainstream U.S. media despite the fact that the idea of modern-day Nazi storm troopers wreaking havoc on Slavic "Untermenschen" would seem like a very juicy story.
But it would destroy the white-hat/black-hat narrative that the State Department and the MSM have built around the Ukraine crisis, with the Kiev regime in the white hats and the ethnic Russian rebels and Russian President Vladimir Putin wearing the black hats. It might be hard to sell the American people on the notion that neo-Nazis waving an SS flag and ranting about "Untermenschen" deserve white hats.
Kiev's Tolerance of Neo-Nazis
More details about the Azov battalion's role in the fighting were reported in the conservative London Telegraph. In a somewhat sympathetic article, Telegraph correspondent Tom Parfitt wrote that "In Marinka, on the western outskirts, the [Azov] battalion was sent forward ahead of tanks and armoured vehicles of the Ukrainian army's 51st Mechanised Brigade...
"[Despite some casualties] Andriy Biletsky, the battalion's commander, told the Telegraph the operation had been a '100% success'. "'Most important of all, we established a bridgehead for the attack on Donetsk. And when that comes we will be leading the way.'"
The Telegraph then added: "But Kiev's use of volunteer paramilitaries to stamp out the Russian-backed Donetsk and Luhansk 'people's republics,' proclaimed in eastern Ukraine in March, should send a shiver down Europe's spine. Recently formed battalions such as Donbas, Dnipro and Azov, with several thousand men under their command, are officially under the control of the interior ministry but their financing is murky, their training inadequate and their ideology often alarming. The Azov men use the neo-Nazi Wolfsangel (Wolf's Hook) symbol on their banner and members of the battalion are openly white supremacists, or anti-Semites."
In interviews, some of the fighters questioned the Holocaust, expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler and acknowledged that they are indeed Nazis, a fact also known by Kiev authorities.
Biletsky, the Azov commander, "is also head of an extremist Ukrainian group called the Social National Assembly," according to the Telegraph article which quoted a recent commentary by Biletsky as declaring: "The historic mission of our nation in this critical moment is to lead the White Races of the world in a final crusade for their survival. A crusade against the Semite-led Untermenschen."
The battalion itself is founded on right-wing views, Biletsky acknowledged, adding that Nazi allegiances are not grounds for exclusion. "The most important thing is being a good fighter and a good brother so that we can trust each other," he said.

Wanna make Vladimir dangerous- send in Nazi paramilitaries to eastern Ukraine. He is Russian, you know. Ukraine splitting in two is becoming a distinct possibility.
let's hope Putin invade Ukraine, and let's see the face of western leaders when they abandon Ukraine
Watch Putin make a billionaire quiver like a 14 year old in detention at school. This Putin guy is quite something.
Gangsta number one. The Russians (well, most of them) like that- bear in mind he came to power following a period of outright anarchy, following the collapse of the Soviet Union. The mostly Jewish and invariably corrupt oligarchs don't though- unless they manage to stay on the right side of him. It was that same anarchy that was their path to riches, via corrupt officialdom and vulture picking state assets & enterprises.

Oligarchs are frequently at odds with government where one has wealth and the other power. In free western countries oligarchs such as Australia's Clive Palmer are free to become politicians and scare the power-brokers at their own game. If you try to do the same thing in Putin's Russia you will end up doing a long stretch.Originally Posted by The Maestro

That is my problem with Putin. He is a gangster.
That may be an acceptable form of government in a banana republic but not in a G20 global power.
His power is unrestrained by a senate. Government should never be allowed to become too powerful. Politicians are human and humans are emotional and corruptible.

What you may not understand about the situation is that these guys took on executive roles of some of these manufacturing assets after the Soviet collapse. Don't be so naive to think that this was as easy as baking a cake. They risked their own money, their own time and their own lives to try and make these things work. They employed a lot of people in the process ans still do.
Your hatred of jews is on display again. The mostly jewish and invariably corrupt oligarchs? Ahh yes, blame the jews for Russia's corruption.
Alisher Burkhanovich Usmanov one of the wealthiest men in Russia and considered the most powerful of the class you term "oligarch" is a muslim. However, rather than trade racial hatred with you, I point out that the label of muslim or jew is just that in Russia. No practicing muslim or jew can ever make it to the top of anything in Russia. Maybe you want to grasp at straws and trot out Viktor Felixovich Vekselberg because his father was 1/2 jew? The Russian nationalists do. Except that he has a Russian mother and is a member of the Russian Orthodox church.
Lisin, Temenchko, Potanin, and most of the other wealthy elites are not jewish. Maybe you want to take a stab at Prokhorov? He has a jew grandmother. I believe under your Nuremburg laws, that would have earned a trip to Dachau.
Want to try with Khan, or Alekperov? The look foreign don't they? Sadly for you, they are muslim too. In case you missed it, most of the jews who had anything on the ball fled to the USA or Israel. That brain drain was what propelled Israel's and the USA's tech industry and scientific innovation. Something about freedom that encourages success, something Putin and his gang of KGB thugs still don't get.
WTF? The G20 is made up of a mixed bag which includes Mexico, Russia, South Korea, Italy, India, Indonesia, Turkey and Brazil. It is idiotic to affix the label of corruption to other G-20 members such as Australia, Canada, USA, Germany, Japan USA or UK. Whatever the failings of the latter 7 are, they are angelic in comparison to the first group. Apparently you are easily fooled. Intelligent people with a bit of working life experience understand reality and what corruption is.
Does the truth hurt? Diddums. So I'll say it again- most of the Russian oligarchs are jewish, and notoriously corrupt- indeed that was their path to riches, in the virtual anarchy that followed the collapse of the Soviet Union. They are not unique in this regard, merely a majority- the non-jewish oligarchs that made their money the same way are equally corrupt.Originally Posted by zygote1

If Russian president Vladimir Putin comes to the G20 leaders' summit in Australia later this year, it could turn into a sideshow, a leading Australian economist warns.
Doubts remain over whether Mr Putin will be welcome, or if he would even want to come, to the November meeting of world leaders in Brisbane.
There were calls for him to be banned last month after seven Queenslanders lost their lives when a Malaysia Airlines flight was shot down over eastern Ukraine, allegedly by pro-Russian separatists.
The chief executive of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA), Stephen Martin, said if Mr Putin did come, he needed to stick with the program.
"Perhaps his attendance will be a bit of a sideshow that would give some an opportunity to grandstand around other matters," he said in Brisbane at the launch of CEDA's research paper into the summit.
"This is an economic forum, it is not a security forum.
"If he is here, he should be coming to talk about economic issues.
"And if he doesn't [come] - who cares?"
Reserve Bank and CEDA board member John Edwards said it would be impossible for Mr Putin and other European leaders to attend if Russia invaded eastern Ukraine.
Nevertheless, the shooting down of the MH17 flight was not a valid reason to ban him, Mr Edwards said.
"The shooting down of the passenger plane, if you're not doing it deliberately or in the Russia's case doing it itself, is not of itself a reason that you could credibly offer to refuse Putin," Mr Edwards told the luncheon.
"Because he obviously didn't intend to shoot it down.
"I think Putin will be here, unless the invasion occurs."
Russia's involvement in G20 not critical: Edwards
Relations between Western nations and Russia have soured since the MH17 disaster.
Last week Russia announced a ban on most food imports from a range of Western nations, including Australia, for a year in retaliation to sanctions imposed over the the crisis in Ukraine.
Australia exports more than $400 million in agricultural products to Russia each year.
Russia is considered a risky market and the ban would not have the same impact as a similar decision by Japan.
Mr Martin and Mr Edwards both agreed that Russia's involvement in the G20 summit was not critical.
"Would it make a difference? I don't think it would," Mr Edwards said.
"Russia doesn't have enough economic weight in the world.
"It is not involved in these major decisions of global financial reform.
"I don't think it would be missed in the same way that Germany would be missed."
G20 Brisbane summit: Australian economic leaders don't care if Vladimir Putin comes - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
But it's also a sideshow if he's not there. Swallow what you eat.
Vladimir must be ever so pleased with the Wests attention on a Journalists beheading.
He sorted out the Muslims in Chechnya.
The exchange came as Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, called for immediate talks on the future of Ukraine's war-torn east, saying for the first time that "statehood" should be considered for the region.
Mr Putin's comments came after European Union leaders agreed on Saturday to draw up new economic sanctions against Moscow, a move hailed by the United States, which is planning tighter sanctions of its own and wants to act jointly with Europe.
"We need to immediately begin substantive talks ... on questions of the political organisation of society and statehood in south-eastern Ukraine with the goal of protecting the lawful interests of the people who live there," Mr Putin was quoted as saying by Russian news agencies on a TV show broadcast in the far east of the country.
Russia has previously only called for greater rights under a decentralised federal system to be accorded to the eastern regions of Ukraine, where predominantly Russian-speakers live.
In the program, which was taped on Friday, Mr Putin did not directly address additional Western sanctions on Russia.
But he blamed the crisis in Ukraine on the West, accusing it of supporting a "coup" against pro-Kremlin president Viktor Yanukovych in February.
"They should have known that Russia cannot stand aside when people are being shot almost at point-blank range," Mr Putin said, adding that he did not have in mind "the Russian state but the Russian people."
Ukraine crisis: Russian paratroops exchanged for Ukrainian soldiers as Putin calls for 'statehood' talks - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
Now he wants statehood talks on eastern Ukraine after swearing that he had no interest in the region after annexing Crimea.
Putin is a psychotic dangerous fuck-up and a liability to the world. The sooner he is offed the better for everyone. He is a troublemaker and trouble isn't good. Trouble costs money and trouble costs lives.
"I could take Kiev in two weeks if I wanted."
Those are words of a lunatic.

The EU is best advised to backpedal, fast- unless they want to see their economy totally destroyed. The US can bluster all it wants, but with respect to Russia and the US, they have little actual engagemnt on the trade and investment front- a situation that has now been perpetuated indefinitely. Of course the US will lean on the EU to increase it's sanctions, which will damage them more than Russia. The main winner will be China.
It occurs to me that the Obama adminitration is dangerous- late into his second term, absolutely nothing but a litany of failure on the foreign policy front. Libya, Syria, Ukraine, Georgia, the Palestinian/ Israeli peace process, the inherited hangovers of Ghan & Iraq, the US even ended up on the wrong side of the so called 'Arab Spring'. What folly is he likely to pursue next, to 'leave his mark'? Allies, beware.
