Errm, what? Those pictures were published all over the world and shown on US and international TV until the media decided there was more profit in being outraged by them and started criticising each other for showing them. Bugger all to do with asian tabloids. I first saw them on CNN and then the Guardian and the Times. They were generally credited to photographers from the US. The most famous picture, the falling man, was taken by Richard Drew, the photographer who got the close-up pictures of Bobby Kennedys assassination. He sold the photo to AP and the next day it appeared in almost every newspaper in the world - not just asian tabloids.
