To borrow a phrase from Piwanoi, what a crock of shit. All the so-called details but it fails to say which isotope of Plutonium was used. Never mind. Plutonium 238 has a half life of 87 years, Plutonium 239 has a half life of 24,100 years, Plutonium 241 has a half life of 14 years, so how the hell can such allegedly damaging radiation levels reduce to "safe low levels" after only 72 hrs.
And if such a miraculous chemical discovery has been made, why aren't countries like the UK, USA, Russia, Japan and France using it do deal with their stockpliles of used nuclear fuel and radioactive waste? I'm sure the people at Sellafield would love to hear about such a wonderful discovery.
