Before I dip my toe into the snakepit of the forums, I have a question.
When I woke up on Sunday and checked out this thread on TD, I found I had a line of 6 red boxes in my poster box. david44 had advised me that red boxes mean poor value. So what had I done? Two crap jokes, (coal and refried beans), had earned me bad rep in the Newbies Lounge? Not wanting to give personal details to complete strangers on a website is bad form?
I have now been greened back to near normality, but I am curious. What had I done to be redded?

The problem I have with this question, and I would like to say before I begin that this is not meant as a slight to anyone who is a member of TD, but, nevertheless, on my travels, the most dodgy, conniving, dishonest, disreputable, insulting and thoroughly nasty bastards I have ever met in my life, people who make meter-broke taxi drivers seem like paragons of virtue and rug salesman in Marrakesh seem like honest brokers trying to earn a crust, are ex-pats.
(Will I get a red for that?)
So please bear with me if you feel I am sparse with personal details. I have joined this forum in the hope of joining in with and possibly starting interesting threads.

Disclosing your whereabouts and whether you have a Thai wife or partner along with what you like to get up to in Thailand are not what I would call personal details.
