    Hello Everybody

Hello. I've decided to join this forum for the cut and thrust of the replies to some of the topics. (More cut than thrust in some topics, from what I have seen).
I have recently been living in Europe, where many of the forums tend to have topics along the lines of, 'Wasn't it a lovely day yesterday?', or 'Where can I buy baked beans?', with several pages of replies.
From what I can see, Teakdoor may be more interesting than those.
So, I'll find a topic and join in.

    I'm now in Thailand.
Sure, I'll start some interesting threads. Did you know there are four main types of coal? With several sub-categories? I'll go into detail, if you wish.

    hi
The old TD owner was convinced that people from the North of England , eat coal for breakfast,
    utter bullshit
I never eat it before tea time.

    I'm not allowed to quote yet, but in reply to blue;
A ring-pull top. How very interesting.
For a recipe for Mexican re-fried beans, check the European forums. They'll be pages of it there. In tedious detail.

    No thank you!

You might get some conversation going if you start a thread about charcoal as its used by many in Thailand for cooking.

Which part of Thailand have you moved to,do you have a Thai wife/boyfriend ?

Threads about where you are and what you enjoy doing there are always good topics to start with.

If you want to start a thread telling us all about the four types of coal crack on it might end up in the bunker though

I don't really want to get into personal details as there may be some posters on here i don't want to get to know.
There's always the chance this is a bar I don't feel comfortable in and I may scuttle off somewhere else.
I'm just saying hello and I'll join in with some threads and see how it goes.
Now where are the weather threads?
(By the way, the coal comment was my weak attempt at humour. Not successful, obviously).
What are the green boxes at the bottom of each posters main box. Are they reputation? Why have I only got a few, while everybody else has many? Can I earn them?

This is what I'm here for. Surreal questions are more than welcome.

I went to visit for the first time a house built by an Italian , outside the kitchen in the back yard he had built an Italian oven, wood burning stove.
I admired it and thought how cool it was to eat Italian Pizza from an authentic oven, in an awful location.
After the visit I discussed the visit with Mary, and She revealed that the Hosts Thai Wife had told Her that the Italian oven must go.
It looked like too much like a Thai Temple Oven.
