Umm many of the posts have been out for example my recent Korean BBQ post. I do not post all the food I have outside of the house for many reasons. But encase you forgot...

    Should I post more?

Good food there Snubs but Dill has lost the essential requirement for this thread, "Bloke", he's morphing into a metrosexual, soon his Mrs will be out all night and watching the Ashes whilst the new 78 Kg Dill sits at home with his Whey Shake worrying about whether the new Tea Towels he bought colour co-ord with the dog.

No, all I meant was that your home cooked options look great.

On my first night in Thailand (1980?) I bought 'Never Mind' by Nirvana and I've wanted to go to Seattle ever since.

Probably not the best reason, but there it is...

'Never mind' as opposed to 'Nevermind'?

    1980?

It's only the greatest album ever released.

    (In 1991, by the way.)

It is a shame we got robbed of all the greats from our era. Layne Staley, Cobain, Andrew Wood, and then Cornell. Just think of how they would have shaped the current modern music scene if they were all still alive. We got robbed. The boomers still have a bunch of their icons alive and playing still. We got robbed. Now there is shit rap and electronic garbage taking over.

We lost quite a few young ones too.

Brian, Jimi, Jim, Janis, John, etc..

Let's excuse Cyrille for an errant finger; 8 is just next to 9 after all.

One of those people/albums that you can remember where you were when he/she died and what you were doing.

The other 2 were George Best (Khao San, for some reason) and Michael Jackson (my flat in Phnom Penh).

You're probably about the same age as me; Cobain was by far and away the most significant loss to music.

I'm no great fan of Amy Winehouse in the main, but I was listening to her a few weeks ago and she's deffo another one that has gone far too soon.

Bet she could have cooked a mega beans on toast too for this thread.

    Back to the Food ...

A quick 'Toad in the Hole'

Cut the hole in the bread

Fry one side and flip it

Whisk and egg with your poison. Mine was egg, tomato, onion, sliced ham and mature cheese. SnP to taste.

Do something with the cutout, I simply fried mine and wacked it on top and resisted the Chitty temptation to write TD on it

No sausage, no Yorkshire pudding, no gravy and no onions.

And a hole in the middle of the meal.

I think David had a heavy night last night.

    To all the nay-sayers.

'Toad in the Hole' covers a broad gambit of offerings.

    This.

From what I can see, yours is just a really bad egg sandwich, Dave.

What on earth were you thinking? You've already lost bloke points by taking half of the bread out, for God's sake.

The only surprise is you didn't put a cocktail umbrella in it.
