Nope not much tomato in my chili. For the tomato I use Polpa from Cirrio. Nice chunks of tomato that fall apart. One big can for say 3 liters of chili.

15 seconds to put the fish on the oven tray.

    The Blokes' Cookery Thread-p7300075-jpg

8 seconds to squirt the tartar sauce.

I am working on my nouvelle cuisine presentation skills for my bloke food.

There is no reason why quickly prepared food needs to be hastily arranged and presented.

    Not sure about this effort.

Needs a splash of colour with a green sprig of something.

Also a bit too geometric. Need a more organic formation.

^I think the fish fillets should be not too bad. Fish is decent protein.

But I could get severely marked down for the carbs in the breadcrumb coating...

Plus the 32g of fat in that portion of fish.

    44.25g of protein = 177 cal
    32.5g of fat = 292.5 cal
    66.75g of carbohydrates = 267 cal

    Total calories = 736.5

I was so busy yesterday, i forgot to eat until about 4pm.

Typical bloke in a hurry, so i got a grab car to my nearest steak house.

Couldn't believe it. Kitchen full of blokes, and I get the only woman chef!

Mods feel free to remove this post as disqualified, even though the tenderloin was perfect medium rare.

Inspired by Chas over on the dinner thread. Had to bugger off to the kitchen.

    Ribeye. S&P. Olive Oil. 60 seconds + 30 seconds.

onions and champagne shrooms continued during it's 3 minutes of resting.

    Bloody delicious.

If that was inspired by me, the mushrooms would have been in sauce and the onion rings in batter. Apart from that, 9/10 for the food and an infraction for boring crockery.

Lovin those numbers to the 4th significant figure and the decimal fractions Nev!

I think the tartar sauce goes in the debits column too.
