Hi David, yeah I heard of the Bernard O'Rielly story as a teenager living near Kyogle. Within 15 kilometers of me were at least seven O'Rielly families, all related to him. Have read the story of the rescue a few times, the book is called Green Mountains. Think I still have a copy somewhere. Magic country around there. The mountains in Nan province remind of it. In fact if we had not moved to Nan I suspect I would have drifted back there to retire.
more vertigo...

Makes me ill just looking at it. What are they building?
Korolev crater, on Mars, is filled with ice. It measures 37.3 miles in diameter, and holds about 528 cubic miles of ice!
A team from University of Michigan recovers a Woolly Mammoth skull in a farmers field in Lima Township, Michigan.
Chicago seen from Indiana; flat earthers scroll away!

^in all honesty, sod that. I'll be in the hotel bar.
That Machu Picchu shot is not an illusion, either. You can see where vertical is from peoples' stance. You really wouldn't want to have a dickey knee...

Who hasn't tried to walk down from 3,000 m would not know that it is much more tiring than to walk up.
Especially, when with sandals and just arriving from Thailand (not quite used to climb the mountains).
At the end of the descend, when the muscles are incredibly aching - is better to walk as a crab - backwards...

I fuckin knew it. Socks with sandals.
No research but I think Treasure trove laws apply to value such as coins, bullion etc with no identifiable owner, so bones should belong to the property owner.
I would probably loan it to a museum or uni, at least they could clean it up and use it for research while the bids come in.
