(Sigh). So what are you saying was actually in my repo and that I altered, troll ?
And that, I believe, is called a non-sequitur....a conclusion that does not follow from the premise.
You are aware of this, of course. That is why you are such a tedious, small-minded troll. Haven't you got anything better to do ? Hmmm....obviously not. What a pathetic internal life you must lead.
Seem to have picked up a cold, which I suppose is not surprising given the dramatic climate change. The situation at work is what it is, so I'll just lock in and complete that Moreland Uni course. Might as well get something productive out of the year.
A friend of mine has an unusual moan.
He spends a lot of time listening to Radio 5 Live, but due to a recent change in policy, now has to use a UK VPN on his laptop to listen in.
Occasionally when his wife goes out, he fancies a bit of 'me time'... sorry 'him time', so checks out some internet sites but while his laptop is 'in the UK' he now constantly gets asked for age verification and shit. He has to keep logging out of the BBC to turn his VPN off, and vice versa.
It's pissing him off.
^ yeah, all that stuff is a pain in the f'kin arse. I've sites I watched based on my Korean info, my UK Disney+ (which I quite like) is based on my UK phone because it gave me 6 free months when I got the phone in the UK a few weeks back (after 6 months I will cancel it). I must clean the caches and turn the browser on/off at least half a dozen times a day. I'm in the habit of using a HK VPN (LETS VPN) from my year in China, generally works well, but not so well with UK sites which means the Express VPN (although that one is constantly changing it's servers, so requires management...). A few years back when these content owners started to develop their own platforms and sell content into different categories (which they always did to an extent) - it all became a shitshow.
Cycling should be banned!!!
^ Not necessary, I can pass it on.

I use NordVPN. It is only one mouse click to turn on or off, or to switch countries. Simples.
Hmmm. TV licenses in UK are free for over 60's. So ergo Brits over 60 living overseas should be able to watch/listen for free just like their UK resident brethren?
OK So ergo Brits over 75 living overseas should be able to watch/listen for free just like their UK resident brethren?
Same sentiment different age.
Newer news?
In a surprising and welcome move, the UK government has launched a pilot scheme offering a free TV licence to people aged 57 and above. This marks a major policy shift, as free licences were previously reserved for those aged 75+ and receiving Pension Credit.
Starting August 2025, hundreds of thousands of early retirees and low-income pensioners will be eligible, creating a lifeline for individuals struggling with rising costs.
I think I have just bought the last stock of decent shirts to see me through til I cark it. Its put my future longevity into focus.

Feels like I've been stabbed in the stomach and kicked in the intestines, don't want to get up, don't want to stay in bed. Dumped by the GF, with very valid reasons, after 10 months together. The second longest relationship of my life.
Absolutely gutted.![]()
