Turns out the rash on my leg is not an insect bite but cellulitis. It got worse during the day so I got it checked out at the new hospital in Sakon nakon. They admitted me straight away, antibiotics for 3-5 days and possibly surgery as well.

cellulitis can be a precursor of sepsis, make sure the quacks keep a close eye on your symptoms.
