I had that happen to me a few years a go...was really hacked off and then found out it was just an internal fuse. Once fixed, it has worked ever since...

^ They're sending someone out next week

That's one decent thing about the UK, consumer rights and warranties.

I bought this satin sheet off amazon one summer and slept on it for a week then sent it back unwashed and got a refund. Freezing when it's cold and stick to the thing when it's hot. Pee slides straight off them too.

Top tip for a cheap holiday!

Get yourself down to Argos and buy all the most expensive camping equipment going and fvck off to Shell Island with the family and dog for a week, you'll love it in this weather.

Then when you get back, take all the gear back to Argos and get your full refund under their no quibble 30 day money back guarantee.

Chitty's discombobulating and intoxicating Welsh glamping expedition.

I'm sure Mendy will enjoy it as well this Summer as it's like the budgie "cheap", they even have free crab fishing, scarecrow and sandcastle making competitions with a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake for the winners.

Get onit like a car bonnet!
    Shalom

Here's a Snowdon thread I did during lockdown, good weather for it at the moment.

Chitty's Mountain mission to the top of Wales.

However I would go up via the Pyg trail and come down via the Llanberis trail for the best all around views.

Yes my preferred route , Sherpar then start at Pen-y-pas try summit by noon, slow long descent to the Warerfall near steam depot where my friend lives. That halfway hut cafe may be open.

They would not give me one of those pregnancy pins at On Nut BTS today.
So are they implying that I'm fat and not pregnant if so that can't be true, surely?.

It seems as though nothing I order from Shopee or Lazada comes out of Thailand anymore. I set the filter to only show northern region or domestic vendors only but still everything gets sent directly from China and takes a longer time. It’s bullshit I tell ya!

Returning from the vet, dark, thunderstorm and chucking it down with rain. Could just about make out tje cars coming at me with no lights on. The freaking idiot on a motorcy driving at me on my nearside with no lights nearly grew wings.

    When will they ever learn?

Only after they start teaching and testing defensive driving. I nearly killed two today. Driving normally through a green light I checked the dual carriageway left and right (as I now do) and was surprised to see a middle-aged woman on a motosai who clearly didn't plan to stop. She went straight through the very red light, I stood on the anchors and she passed just in front of the truck. These kinds of events give me flashbacks.

The second was funny, in a way. Chap on a motosai turned right across the dual carriageway from a poorly positioned gap on a blind summit. Funny beacause I could hardly see him, he was carrying a large shrub, maybe 2m tall. I doubt that he could see much of the road around him. I braked, he missed me and the shrubbery drove off into the distance.

He could be frolicking in the pool with his family or having a relaxing BBQ by the big bin instead of squinting at his phone all day.
