7/11, like just about everything else in fucking thailand, is owned by the ubiquitous, malignant, greedy and monopolistic cp group
Charoen Pokphand Group
History. CP All PLC was established in 1988 by the Charoen Pokphand Group. The company is the sole operator of 7-Eleven convenience stores in Thailand, which has been granted exclusive rights from 7-Eleven, Inc. to conduct business under an area license agreement.
The Charoen Pokphand Group Company, Ltd.[2] (CP) (Thai: เจริญโภคภัณฑ์; RTGS: Charoen Phokkhaphan) is a Thai conglomerate based in Bangkok. It is Thailand's largest private company and the largest privately held Royal Warrant holder of the Thai Royal Family. The company describes itself as having eight business lines[3] covering 13 business groups. As of 2020, the group has investments in 21 countries.[4]
It owns controlling stakes in Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF),[5] the world's largest producer of feed, shrimp,[6] and a global top three producer of poultry,[7] pork, among other agricultural produces. It also operates Southeast Asia's largest retail business by revenue, with over 12,000 7-Eleven stores the second largest in the world after the 20,000 stores in Japan[8] and a leading cash and carry business through Siam Makro.[9] In the telecommunications sector, CP Group subsidiary, True Group, is one of the largest telecom firms in Southeast Asia with over 25 million mobile customers.
With some 200 business subsidiaries in mainland China, CP Group is known in China as "Zhèng Dà" (正大). When China opened up its economy in 1978, the CP Group was the first foreign investor in the country and became the first foreign company registered in the special economic zone of Shenzhen, Guangdong. The company is the single largest investor in Mainland China today commanding over fifth of China's entire feed meal market.[10] The corporate registration number was "0001." Through its extensive investments, CP Group has been credited with changing the country's dietary habits and leading China's green revolution.[11]
They are a bunch of chinky monoplists aided by a chunky Govt but they have been going a long time before 88'.

My daily moan is posts that consist of 1 emoji and that's it.
My daily moan is being sent green repo.
I haven't had an oven for years and the airfryer isn't up to a full roast so I splashed out on an electric tabletop oven, with visions of roast leg of lamb and a Christmas turkey to follow.
I tried a tray of roasted veg to see how things went and found that things went a lot more slowly than I'd expected. So I bought an oven thermometer and a chicken and put them both in the oven at maximum power, allegedly 230C. According to the oven thermometer the oven never got hotter than 165C.
My moan is spending dosh on things in the expectation that they will work as promised then finding that they don't.
Did you buy an Electrolux with double glass?
You can recalibrate this to get it to 230c.oven thermometer
I had the same problem, and posted about it a while back.
Max temp I can get is 190 near the top of the oven.
Oh crap. I just bought an Electrolux air fryer oven. Just put it together yesterday so haven’t used it.
Maybe I should return it.
