A trip to Khon Kaen and 2 ladies giving me directions to a clinic and then to a hotel.

Merging into 6 lanes of traffic just outside Central, told I need to turn right...actually managed it but not sure how.

Turn right at next traffic lights. I get in lane, lights go green, just starting to turn with traffic when I hear, No, stop, straight on, it's the next set.

I get to next set, ask if I should turn, get told no, carry across the junction and then told Yes, turn here.

Sounds easy but this was in very heavy traffic.

Apologies to those that had an idiot in front who kept changing lanes!

Troy, i find google maps on my UK phone works great, also whatsherface has a nice English accent which i turn up loud over the car stereo if there is even a hint of Thai dissent from the passenger chairs.

Thai Sat Nav is in a female Thai voice...that'll be 3 women telling me which way to go and none being the same.

In fact, the wife hates competing with the car nav so she doesn't tell me the address. I just get a Facebook photo if I push.

Netflix can be generous, I have the Netflix family plan and both my kids use it. Whats cool is they get Netflix America with double or triple the viewing. The Thai subscription is much cheaper than the American one.

^Think netflix is starting to clamp down on that, and will start limiting it to people living in the same house.

I used to use a buddies Netflix PW Here. But interestingly the content is controlled. Said forget it. Easier to torrent everything and anything I want. Never used it again. Same with Spotify. Daughters bought a family plan. They passed along a subscription to me. Worked great in US. Got here and got loads of errors and headaches. Scrapped that as well.

It's too hot today to do anything but have a moan...

Am I the only one who appears to be invisible in this modern world? Yesterday, in the shopping centre the water taps refused to turn on for me. They worked for others but damned if I could get them to work for me. Same happened in a rest room on the way home.

Actually, I have this happen way too often for it to be comfortable. Grocery stores with automatic doors that won't open, hand driers and water taps that refuse to operate. They aren't broken, I see others use them, they just don't work for me.

Even the phone won't recognise my face sometimes, nor my fingerprints, I have to put in the pin instead. Laptop is the same with my fingerprint reader.

The worst I've had is one of those security interlock doors. It let me into a place but wouldn't let me out again. Somehow, it failed to recognise my existence 4 hours after happily greeting me and letting me enter.

I guess those 5g jabs haven't worked and I need another booster.

I’m OK with it pointing directly at me, I just haven’t seen the wife for a while.
