I had the urge to do something artistic/ craftsy and I was choosing among crochet, cross stitch or oainting. I disregarded cross stitch since my eyes aren't as good as before and threading a needle is now tough - I must use the big needle now! Also, cross stitch patterns that I saw online are quite complicated. Might take me ages to finish it (or I might abandon it altogether).

For crochet, I've no desire to make a doily, tablecloth, blanket or blouse. (I've made 2 crocheted blouses many moons ago.)

So I chose to paint. I used to sketch & paint (watercolor) as a kid. Now, I can't be arsed but I still wanted to paint. So I chose the "easy way out" and bought a Paint with Numbers kit from Lazada.

Here's my cross stitch project from 1999. There's another one in my room at my parents' house, also of dogs (my former pets). This dog cross stitch was from a pattern on the 'net.
