Went over to Harwich to paint the maritime museum on the prom yesterday but the wind wasn’t playing ball and just wanted to tip my tripod over ,, but all wasn’t lost as I dived in behind the hedge at Oakley on the way home to grab this little scene ,, which promptly sold when I got home

Looking forward to your Lanzarote pics and paintings!!
Are you doing a trip report, if you have time?

Yes thanks ,, no I shall post some paintings as I go , unfortunately the usual acrylics , but better than nothing.
We are then shortly coming to Thai on November 5th for a month , and there will be oil paintings from that trip , possibly quite a few as we are looking after Mum and Dad for a month to give the SIL a much needed break ,, although they do have a fair bit of DIY for me to do
cheers

Anyway he was a very happy boy at the end of the day as his art is the one thing that calms him down as he gets totally engrossed in it during that time ,, here he is with his first oil painting of a pumpkin and a charcoal sketch , his mum and dad was both surprised and very pleased at his achievements over the day ,, btw I didn’t touch any of his work he was just painting alongside watching me , although I did mix the paint for
