Great reflection in the foreground.
Your seas are tremendously good Nigel, there's real movement in the waves.

here's another one that i found on my hard drive
it's a very sad clown...also in water
Well you seem happy enough to frame them , so all different styles are good
No not always , infact a lot of them make a living being sad
Remember Smokey Robinson + the Miracles?
The tears of a clown
i framed about 5 of my pieces and then stoppedOriginally Posted by nigelandjan
i gave one to my boss as a gift...it's a street cafe scene ...she had just opened a cafe....it's by far the best thing i ever did
i have about 100 just sitting in a box
haven't picked up a brush in a good year now
i think i've forgotten what to do
i like water colors lots of wet on wet and just seeing what happens
Uncanny looks like me in the mirror new year's day.Keep up coming Noony
Do you have any form of land or seascapes in the box ?Originally Posted by ChiangMai noon
I would love to see them
If not pick up them brushes and have a go at either of the above if you have time
I know its difficult in Thailand to paint watercolour plein air because I have tried but I have managed some just fine indoors working from my photos with the aircon on
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

no
mainly animals and portraits
i like street scenes but find them very challenging
the one i gave my boss was my third attempt
i'll get a picture tomorrow
i wanted to do some sort of freak show series and i need to get back to it
i'll dig the box up
Love the clown
Is he sad because you fukked his nose up?
here's the cafe picture i did for my boss
just found it on the old computer
it's called cafe genie
i have horrible handwriting and struggled with that part
^
thanks but i posted 3
this is a giraffe which i posted on wetcanvas.com
i think it's a better shot than the ones i posted earlier
this was my first attempt and i actually tried to replicate it but failed
i think i got lucky with the way the paint mixed
i love this picture
I forgot about that one. Not bad, but I prefer the other two. That one looks a bit "messy" to me.
it should be
i sprayed it with a water can for hours until i was happy with the drip effect
thanks anyway
i like painting even if i don't have the subtle hand of nige and lots of others
btw...does anybody know the best place to get a good quality rigger brush in thailand....
