I keep seeing this NHS stuff, but I can't really believe you are being serious about it being a benefit to a Thai? 30 baht and you're in for life. Better doctor's for the most and unfortunately, longer lines.
What really is the benefit to a Thai national of gaining citizenship anywhere else but Thailand? Without a sponsor in the country of selection I see a rather dismal life unless they are highly educated or have wealth of their own? Memories of a Man City owner spring to mind.
I certainly would never subject my Thai wife to the insult of becoming a citizen of the USA. There's absolutely no benefit to be found there. Well, perhaps a couple but its a long hard road from immigrant to citizen. She's happy as she is and why would I want to change that?
I wanted a Thai wife, not an American wife.
