We didn't need to kill them. We conquered them by trade and with our superior culture. It was only when they rebelled we had reason to use force.

I support the troops wholeheartedly. Supporting the politics behind them is a different matter altogether.

However I still believe invading Iraq was the correct decision. There are going to be no more popular wars for the UK and US in the future as in every conflict henceforth they will be looked upon as the aggressor or the instigator (look at 9/11 conspiracy for evidence).

British culture resulted in mass murder. The Indians didn't have the kind of bigotires the British had. There was no Catholic vs Protestant type wars in Indian until the British came. You brought British civilization, it led to neighbor killing neighbor because of religion, like yall did in Ireland.
