Puppy survives being flushed down toilet.

Puppy survives after boy accidentally flushes him down the toilet while washing him.

A week-old puppy was recovering today after he was accidentally flushed down the toilet.

The tiny cocker spaniel was trapped in a waste pipe for nearly four hours after Daniel Blair, four,
decided he 'needed a wash' and put him in a toilet before pulling the chain.

Amid frantic attempts to rescue the pet, a drainage company had to be called in after firefighters and the RSPCA failed to free him.

Eventually, using specialist camera gear, the firm managed to locate the puppy who was stuck some 20 yards from the house.

He was then gently nudged towards a manhole cover before being plucked to safety.

The dog has since been named Dyno after his rescuers Dyno-Rod, the drainage firm who came to his rescue.

His ordeal began after Daniel's twin brother Nicky took him out for a walk in the garden of their house in Northolt, Middlesex.

Their mother Alison, 40, told the Daily Mirror: 'Daniel told me it had got muddy so they put it in the toilet and pulled the chain to give it a wash.

'I ran to the bathroom but the dog was nowhere to be seen. I assumed it was dead. I went into the garden,
managed to lift up the drain cover and was amazed to hear him

Dyno-Rod worker Will Craig, 22, from Harrow, was called in and initially thought it was some kind of prank.

After arriving at the scene, he used specialist camera equipment to find the dog and nudge him towards a manhole cover and safety.

He said: 'At first I didn't want to do it because I was scared of hurting the dog. But the RSPCA said I was his only hope.

'Eventually I pushed him far enough for the firemen to grab.'

Onlookers broke into cheers after the rescue was completed, he added.

Daniel said he was 'so, so sorry' after flushing Dyno down the toilet.
'I won't do it again,' he added.

But you are in the UK dont forget! 8000 people a year die in hospital of 'hospital aquired infections',but they will spend a fortune on rescueing a puppy.

    WHAT. AN. IDIOT. KID!

Plus, the efforts and expense rescuing the puppy was certainly better spent than on anyone in this thread who cares so little about life. I'd rather save a puppy, than a human.
