No mention of the Burka, in my post with the images or in the recent post we are commenting on ... https://teakdoor.com/world-news/18551...ml#post3938580 (Denmark bans wearing of face veils in public to uphold 'Danish values').
That idea of the burka is just in your very feeble imagination.

Just out of curiosity, David, why did you add the article about the emergency law in Sri Lanka to this thread about Denmark banning wearing face veils in public to uphold 'Danish values'? Why didn't you start a new thread?

And in post 96 in this thread you have posted a photo taken in France, 2 photos taken in Australia and one pictures ripped from the internet of the people, one wearing a burka, and a comment that says it "Must be fun at the Airport". Are those photos supposed to be about Denmark or Sri Lanka? Or just a brain fart?

And thirdly, how many nics do you think ray has on TD?

    Your friend, Nev.

Though that is not official, it is effectively so in China, but look at how repressive it is :

    FORTY-EIGHT SUSPICIOUS SIGNS OF 'EXTREMISM'
The following reasons can be used as a trigger by Chinese Government officials to justify someone being sent to an education camp.

Speaking with someone who has travelled abroad
    Owning welding equipment
    Telling others not to sin
    Owning extra food
Eating breakfast before the sun comes up
Merely knowing someone who has travelled abroad
    Owning a compass
    Arguing with an official
Publicly stating that China is inferior to some other country
    Owning multiple knives
Sending a petition that complains about local officials
    Having too many children
    Abstaining from alcohol
Not allowing officials to sleep in your bed, eat your food, and live in your house
    Having a VPN
    Abstaining from cigarettes
Not having your government ID on your person
    Having WhatsApp
Wailing, publicly grieving, or otherwise acting sad when your parents die
Not letting officials take your DNA
    Watching a video filmed abroad
Wearing a scarf in the presence of the Chinese flag
Wearing a hijab (if you are under 45)
    Going to a mosque
    Praying
    Fasting
    Listening to a religious lecture
Not letting officials scan your irises
Not letting officials download everything you have on your phone
Not making voice recordings to give to officials
Speaking your native language in school
Speaking your native language in government work groups
Speaking with someone abroad (via Skype, WeChat, etc.)
Wearing a shirt with Arabic lettered writing on it
    Having a full beard
Wearing any clothes with religious iconography
    Not attending mandatory propaganda classes
    Not attending mandatory flag-raising ceremonies
Not attending public struggle sessions (the public humiliation of political rivals)
Refusing to denounce your family members or yourself in these public struggle sessions

For me, it seemed a little silly to start a new thread everytime as the focus was on the Muslim Head/Bodyware rather the country where the story originated from.

2/ Not meant to be from any country in particular as the focus of this, as I see it is the wearing of Muslim Head/Bodyware.

'Brain Fart' ? Nope ... I usually think things through fairly well.

3/ No idea ... you would have to ask Ray that one.
But Nev, just between you and me, sometimes, just sometimes, there's a hit of Ray in the Nev Nic

Anyway, David, are you anywhere near Sydney? Can you get to Wollongong today? We could have a chat and a coffee at the Wollognong Hospital. I'll meet you on Level 8 outside the conference room if you can make it.

because i'd wager that most people would.

and you might consider devoting less time to obsessing over what women wear and more time to understanding what the meaning of 'infer' is.

of course that should probably be placed on the back burner until you've finally mastered the complex intricacies of 'than' and 'then'.

It's kinda funny when bigots try to couch their bigotry in being all woman's rightsy.

Especially when you know in their spare time they like to indulge in the 'ole misogyny themselves.
